The next day was a day off. Chris, for once, didn’t have to go to the hospital, so he accompanied Jessica to work.

Recently, Chris had been coming to the Wilder Group more often, and no one at the company dared to say anything.

But what Michael was really anxious about was not being able to win Jessica’s heart.

He could sense that the Jessica no longer loved him the way she once had.

“Even back then, I would never have done anything to hurt the Wilder Group. By the way, how’s Sophie doing overseas? She hasn’t answered my calls lately. Is she doing alright?”
