Chapter 182

Aria First Person POV

We didn’t stop.

Once he pressed me against the wall and kissed me like that, there was no going back. The way his hands moved on my body, the way he looked at me, the way I felt like I was going to come apart if he didn’t keep touching me it was all too much. It had been building for days, maybe longer. All the quiet looks. The tension. The way he always stood too close, talked too low, stared too hard. I wanted him. I had never wanted anyone like this before.

And I could tell he felt the same.

The kisses got rougher. Deeper. The touches turned desperate. His mouth moved over my skin like he couldn’t get enough, and I let him have everything. I gave him all of me right there under the water. No holding back. No more secondguessing. My hands were all over him. I pulled him into me. I asked him with my eyes and the way I arched into his touch. He didn’t even hesitate.

We had sex in that shower.

Hot, wet, messy.

Hands gripping. Bodies pressed tight. Mouths moving. Moans echoing off the tile. It wasn’t soft or sweet. It was pure need. I didn’t care about anything else. I just needed him close, inside, wrapped around me. And he gave me that. Over and over until I could barely stand, until my legs were shaking, until I was holding onto him like he was the only thing keeping me upright. He kissed me the whole time, touched me like he couldn’t believe I was real, like he didn’t want to stop. And for a while, I forgot everything else.

I forgot the phone call. The past. The pain.

It was just me and him.

And it felt right.

After, he helped rinse my hair, held me while I caught my breath, kissed my shoulder while the water washed over us both. Then he grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me, holding me close like he wasn’t ready to let go yet. I didn’t want him to.

We stepped out together.

My skin was flushed and warm, my legs still a little weak. He noticed and smirked, proud of himself, but he didn’t say anything. He just handed me another towel and grabbed one for himself.

Back in his room, the lights were low and the air cooler. He walked over to the bed and sat down, pulling me between his legs and rubbing my skin dry gently with the towel. Every movement was slow. Careful. Like I was something fragile. It made my chest tight in a different way.

He grabbed a small jar of lotion from his nightstand and opened it. Turn around,he said.

I did.

He rubbed the cream into my back, my shoulders, my arms, his thumbs pressing slow circles into my muscles. I let my head fall forward, eyes closed, heart still racing even though everything else had slowed down.

He rubbed slow circles into my skin, warm lotion spreading across my thighs, then up to my waist, taking his time like he enjoyed the feel of every inch. I shifted slightly on his lap, not because I was uncomfortable, but because I could feel the way he was holding back. His hands lingered just a little too long in certain places, like he wanted to test me. My fingers pressed into his shoulders in response, not hard, just firm enough to make him glance up at me with that crooked smile of his. Something wrong?he asked, voice low, teasing. I shook my head and leaned closer, letting my chest brush his as I whispered, You’re taking your sweet time.He smirked like I had just challenged him. Maybe. I’m

enjoying the view.I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t help the smile pulling at my lips. He leaned in and kissed it before I could hidh it. Adum. it, he murmured, mouth brushing mine, you like when I take my time.I didn’t answer, mostly because he was right. His hands slid i

Lop my sides slowly, his thumbs grazing under my tibs, and I shivered against him. He laughed under his breath and kissed the edge of iny jaw, his voice softer now. You’re so easy to read, Aria.I gave him a look. You’re not as smooth as you think. He raised an eyebrow, grinning. Wanna bet?I tried to get off his lap, playfully pushing his chest, but he held me tighter, one hand flat on my back, the other gripping my thigh You’re not going anywhere,he said, eyes glinting with that usual mix of heat and amusement. I sighed dramatically and leaned my head on his shoulder. You’re annoying. He kissed the top of my head and whispered, You’re mine. And just like that, the teasing stopped mattering The jokes faded, replaced with that warm, full feeling in my chest again. My fingers started tracing soft circles on his chest, slowly, lazily, while he rubbed my back the same way. He had gone back to scrolling through something on his phone with his other hand, but I could feel the way his focus was still half on me, the way his touch never stopped. Every so often, he would glance down at me and tuck a piece of damp hair behind my ear or press a kiss to my forehead without saying a word. And I didn’t need him to. Because thisthis quiet closeness, this skinon- skin warmth, this easy silencewas enough.

Then he turned me to face him, pulling me down gently until I was straddling his lap. He rubbed lotion into my thighs next, his touch softer now. He didn’t try anything. Just touched me like he was helping me come back down from everything.

You okay?he asked quietly, resting his chin on my shoulder.

Yeah,I whispered. Better than okay.

He kissed the spot under my ear and smiled. Good.

He reached over, grabbed his phone, and started typing something while still holding me close. I stayed on his lap, skin still bare, arms wrapped around his shoulders. I drew soft circles on his chest while he read something on his screen, probably something work related. His free hand was moving slowly over my spine, back and forth in a calming pattern. It made my eyes heavy. My body relaxed fully against his. I had never felt so safe, so warm, sowanted.

He looked down at me once and smiled, kissed my forehead, then went back to whatever was on his screen.
