Jensen shot Benjamin a look, his dark eyes filled with a chilling coldness. "Mr. Forrester, do you know why your business deal fell through?"
Benjamin's face darkened. "That was you?"
"Next time, it won't be just a lost contract." With a deliberate shove of his shoulder, Jensen pushed past Benjamin and walked inside.
Benjamin was momentarily stunned by the sheer menace in Jensen's eyes, but he quickly recovered. He watched as Jensen walked away, just in time to see Marcus Ford emerge from the restaurant. The two men shook hands warmly.
It was confirmed. Jensen was the one who had sabotaged his deal. But how could a pretty boy like him have the power to make Marcus abandon a prize like the Forrester Group?
Unless… Jensen wasn't just connected to the Hawthorne family. What if he worked for them?

Rebekah had been in the hospital for several days. Benjamin hadn't visited once, simply hiring a nurse to look after her. She didn't care.
Jensen had asked to see her a few times, but she had declined. For one, he didn't know she was in the hospital, and she didn't want him to worry. More importantly, she didn't want to drag him into her mess. Benjamin was capable of anything.
Her leg had healed enough that she could walk with crutches. One afternoon, her private investigator called.
Rebekah knew. Benjamin was behind this. She looked at Mason. "I know who framed me. What I need is proof. I'm counting on you."
Mason nodded. "You paid me for a job, and I'll see it through. Don't worry." He pocketed the photo, his gaze falling to her leg. "Miss Fletcher, your leg…"
Rebekah managed a small smile. "It's nothing. Thank you for your concern."
Mason said no more, bidding her farewell and leaving the bar. The moment he was outside, he pulled out his phone.
"Mr. Hawthorne, I've updated Miss Fletcher on the situation. But it looks like she's been injured."
