My Husband's Betrayal My Brothers' Revenge (Rebekah) novel Chapter 90

It was the first time since she'd known him that Jensen had spoken to her so bluntly. He had always been careful to respect her boundaries, never meddling in her personal life. But now, he was making a demand, his tone deadly serious.

Rebekah was momentarily stunned. When she realized he was worried about her, a small, reassuring smile touched her lips. "Don't worry, I will divorce him. You don't need to worry about me."

But the hard line of Jensen's jaw didn't soften. He stepped closer. "If the divorce is too much trouble, I can help you."

"No, thank you!" The refusal was sharp and instinctive.

Jensen watched her, his expression unreadable.

"This is my family's business. Please don't get involved," Rebekah said, her voice quiet as she avoided his gaze.

Sensing her deliberate distance, Jensen's frustration mounted. He was about to say something more when the door swung open and Benjamin walked in. His face darkened the moment he saw Jensen.

"What are you doing here?" he boomed, his voice laced with anger.

Fearing Benjamin would take his anger out on Jensen, Rebekah spoke first. "I'm sick. He came to visit me. Is there a problem?"

Benjamin hadn't expected her to defend Jensen so fiercely, and his expression grew even uglier. "Rebekah, I'm gone for a few days and you call this pretty boy to your bedside? Have you no shame?"

"Benjamin, what nonsense are you spouting?"

Benjamin was already furious about Jensen stealing his business deal. Seeing him here with Rebekah, acting so familiar, sent his rage boiling over.

Rebekah turned to Jensen. "You should go."

Jensen looked at her, saw the deep-seated worry in her eyes, and his own anger subsided slightly. His hands, which had been clenched at his sides, relaxed. "Get some rest."
