Night Rider MC novel Chapter 14

I was woken up by Star talking, or mumbling. "No, please do not do this."

"I don't want it. Stop."

I heard her breathing heavier.

"He won't want me if you do this."

"Don't Stop."

I kissed the side of her neck and whispered. "You are safe, Star. I have you." Then she was quiet. I don't know what to do. I don't even have the rights to be laying her, holding her.

But I have to make her feel safe again. I know she will not trust me or any man right now. But, I will do whatever it takes to make her feel safe again to keep her safe.

I am going to kill Raven. He made this wonderful, beautiful girl hurt, to fear, to not trust. He has to pay for that. She thinks that no man wants her now. But I do. I always wanted her. I still want her.

I just need to get her to trust me. To believe in me. I know that I will not hurt her ever. And I will not let anyone else her either. I will help her trust again, to get strong again. If she will let me.

I want to be the man she runs to if she doesn't feel safe. I will stay with her even if she tells me to leave. I closed my eyes and fell back to sleep. I opened my eyes and felt the side of the bed. It was cold. I looked over and saw her sitting in a chair near the bed looking at me.

"Star, are you alright?"

I sat up. "Star."

"Why are you here Ripper?"

"I am here to keep you safe. To hold you when you are scared."

"Why?' Why do you want to be here?"

"I am not the girl you want to be around anymore."

"Star, I will always want to be around you."

"I don't understand why though."

"He hurt me, he ruined me. He took what did not belong to him."

I sat up on the side of the bed.

"Ripper, no good man will want me now. Don't you understand?"

"Star, that is not true. You did not ask for what happened to you."

"No, I didn't but what is done, is done. Now isn't it?"

"Star, I do not care that you are not pure as you call it."

"I care that you are alive, right here, right now in front of me."

I looked down at my hands.

"Ripper, go away."

"Find a good woman. One who still has her virginity."

"Star, I don't give a flying leap that you are no longer a virgin."

"I will be back, later after work."

"See you later Ripper."

I made coffee and waited for Star to come to the kitchen. I saw her walk in 10 minutes later. As she sat at the table I put the coffee in front of her. I told her Ripper will be back tonight.

"I don't care. He is going to do what he wants to do anyway."

I looked out the window and saw him.

"What the hell is he doing here?"

I opened the door and "yelled at Ace to get the fuck away from my apartment."

"Please, Star will you talk to me?"

"No, go away." I slammed the door locking it.

I sat down and leaned against the tree. I will watch over her from here. I will not let anyone, including Raven get near her again. I know that Ripper will be back tonight. Nothing will stop him. When he comes back I will leave.

I was looking at my phone when I heard the noise. I looked to my left from where I was hidden. I saw a man standing there staring at the window.

I snapped a picture of him. Then I watched as he walked over and laid a white rose on the table. Before walking away. Who the fuck is he? Why is he watching my sister?"

She has been home for one month and not come back to the club since. She hardly comes out of her house. I heard Rippers bike come riding down the road.

When I saw him turn into the driveway, I stood up and walked away. I know he will not leave tonight. Star, is safe.
