Night Rider MC novel Chapter 18

After we ate I told Star to go and take a shower. I watched as she walked into the bathroom. I heard the water turn on. I carried the tray down to the kitchen. I sat it on the counter before walking back up stairs.

I walked back into Stars bedroom. I watched as she climbed into bed. We watched TV until Star fell asleep. I walked down the stairs and washed the dishes. Then I called Hunter.

"What is going on Grace?"

I told him what happened and what Gunner had done.

"Are you telling me that he ordered Ripper to stay away from Star?"

"Yes, Hunter. And Star's heart is broken."

"She is back to day one, again."

"She was shocked that Ripper walked out the door instead of staying with her."

"That son of a bitch. Not Ripper, but Gunner."

"Thanks for calling me Grace."

"I had too, Hunter."

"I will be there in the morning."

I hung up the phone. I hope I did the right thing. I know that Star loves Ripper, and Ripper loves Star. What is Hunter takes Star back to his MC ? What is that going to do to Star and Ripper?

I so pissed of that I had to go to Gunner's clubhouse. I walked in with my VP, Savage, and Enforcer Tank.

"What the hell is wrong with you Gunner?"

"You told Ripper to stay away from Star, and not go back to her apartment."

"You are just as bad as the rest of them."

"Now tore the only person that loves her and she loves away from her."

"I thought it was time that she come here and say for a week."

"She told me no."

"She told me to get the hell out of her apartment so I took Ripper with me."

"I thought that would change her mind so she would do what I said"

"Well, you were fucking wrong."

"She went into shock She went into shock watching Ripper walk away from her."

"I didn't mean for that to happen Hunter."

"She is back to the day when she went home, only worse."

"I am taking Star back to my clubhouse. I want you and your members to stay out of my territory."

"I refuse to let another person hurt her again."

"Let's go boys ." I said, turning and walking out of Gunners club.

We rode out of Gunners compound followed by the van and drove to Star's apartment. We parked in the parking lot and walked to Star's apartment.

I knocked on the door waiting for it to open. I was still furious. I looked up as Grace opened the door.

"I thought you said you were coming in the morning?"

"I changed my mind. I also just left Gunner's clubhouse. Star is coming home with us Grace."

I helped Star and Grace into the van before walking over to my bike. "Let's go home I said before I started my bike."

We rode back to my clubhouse, back to where Star needs to be. When we arrived, I helped Star out of the van. We entered the clubhouse and walked over to the table. I looked at a prospect.

"Bring Star a hamburger, fries and a coke."

I sat down and looked at Star. She just stared at her phone. I know that Ripper has not even called her. I also know that as Gunner's VP he will follow orders.

I looked over at Savage. I saw the anger in his eyes. I looked up as a plate was placed in front of me.

"Eat Star."

I watched as she took five bites then pushed the plate away from her.

"I am going to my room, Uncle Hunter. We watched as she walked toward the hallway.

"She has given up Hunter."

"I know."

"Losing Ripper was the last straw for her."

"Savage, listen out for her tonight. I have a feeling she will need someone tonight."

"Always Hunter, she is like a little sister to me."

It was 1:00 am when I decided to go to bed. Good night everyone I said and headed to my bedroom. I walked in and locked the door behind me. I took my cut off and laid it on the chair before sitting down and taking my boots and socks off.

I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I walked out and took boxers out of the dresser before putting them on. Before laying down.

I don't know what made me open my eyes. I lay listening. Then I heard crying. Her heart was breaking. I sighed and closed my eyes trying to go back to sleep. About one hour later she stopped crying. She must have cried herself asleep.
