Night Rider MC novel Chapter 21

I walked to the bathroom and washed my face. I than walked out of my room and went to talk to Grace. She left Gunners club and came her with me.

I think she and Savage like each other. I found her sitting at the table drinking coffee.

"Grace, I need to stop feeling sorry for myself."

"Star, you were raped, beaten then Ripper left you."

"You are not feeling sorry for yourself. You were hurt."

"I want to go to the gym and start working out again. Will you come with me?"

"Of course, I will. I think it is wonderful you have stopped being a victim and start being a survivor."

"We start going tomarrow."

"Lets do it than."

I stood up and walked to the kitchen. As I came out carrying a cup of coffee, I went to talk to my my uncle. I knocked on his door.

"Come in."

I opened the door and saw him at his desk. I did not see Black Eagle sitting at the table. I walked over and sat on my uncle's desk.

"Star, what brings you to see me?"

"I need Savage to go back to my apartment and bring my boxing gear and work clothes to me."

"Star, what are you going to do?"

"I am going to stop being a victim and become a survivor."

"Star, is this because of what Ripper did?"

"Not at all. I need to do this for myself."

I looked at my uncle leaning back in his chair.

"Star, I will have Savage go and get your things. But, I need a favor."

"What is it?"

"You move out of that apartment. You move here to the cabin in the back."

"Alright, but you better bring a lot of men and a big truck."

"Oh, and I need my car and bike brought here. "

"Just like that, you are not going to argue with me over this?"

I leaned back on my hands.

"Nope, I am not going to argue with you."

"Star, something tells me you are up to something."

"What would you say if I told you, I might beat Ace's ass for him?"

I started laughing. "I would pay to see that happen."

I grinned at uncle Hunter.

"Star, I missed that smile, and I am happy to see it again."

"Oh, and by the way uncle Hunter."

I reached in his pocket and took the joint out and lit it. "If you don't want us to know you are smoking. Put an air freshener in here."

I watched as he leaned his head back and laughed. I leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

"I can't wait to see you fully out of that shall you built around you."

"I am not a 3 year old, who looked like she was one year old anymore."

"Baby girl, you are short as hell, and you know it."

Savage stood me on my feet and I left the office. I ran down the hallway and ran into Brick. Everyone turned and looked at us. She is back they yelled.

"Star, be careful. You could hurt yourself."

"Not me I yelled, running out the door to the barn."

"What the hell just happened? Not a week ago that woman looked like she had given up on life."

"I don't know and I don't care as long as she stays this way."

I ran to the barn and the members looked at me smiling.

As I ran to the barn "I told a prospect to saddle Black."

He looked at me funny but he did it.

I climbed on his back and as I road him out of the barn, several men stood and watched.

"Someone needs to get Hunter."

I was riding Black across the field with my hair flying behind me. I had never been so happy as I am today. I was back. I refuse to let another man hurt me like Ripper did.

As for Raven, I will get back at him for what he had done to me. I looked up and saw the prospect, "Star is riding Black."

We all ran out of the clubhouse and looked across the field. Black was running across the field with Star on his back. We watched as she turned and rode Black back towards us.

"Star, that was the most beautiful sight." My uncle said.

"He has never let anyone on his back before."

"I think that horse belongs to you now."
