Jonathan’s expression remained unchanged as I continued to bite him. After a long pause, I slowly released my grip.
He glanced at the clear bite marks on his hand, wiped them with a tissue, and then looked at me with a calm expression. “Are you satisfied now?”
Ispat and stood up to rinse my mouth.
As I turned, I saw Jonathan standing silently at the bathroom door, watching me without saying a word.
After a moment, he said, “Since you’re being difficult, you should stay here and calm down for a while.”
“Who are you to lock me up?” 1 snapped, feeling displeased. “What about Alicia?”
Jonathan drowned. “What does she have to do with this?”
I scoffed. “She’ll probably be over to visit Grandpa frequently. Aren’t you worried the two of us will cross paths and cause you more trouble?” “You do realize you’re causing me trouble, right?”
Jonathan chuckded, staring at me intently.
After a pause, he said, “I’ve told you countless times, Alicia is like a sister to me. Why do you always target her?”

I almost laughed at his words. “Target her? You always choose her without hesitation, letting everyone see me as a joke. They all think I’ll sooner or later. And yet, you say I’m targeting her?”

“There’s no need to listen to what others say,” Jonathan interrupted. “You’re too easily influenced by outside opinions and can’t see your own heart.” “Who’s the one who can’t see their heart clearly?” I snapped, grabbing Jonathan’s shirt collar. “If you and Alicia are in love, then just be together already and divorce me! I don’t want to be caught in between you two! Why does your so–called great love have to make someone else the stepping stone?” “Enough!” Jonathan shouted angrily as he yanked my hand away.
After a long pause, I said coldly, “You’re right. I do hate her. I am targeting her. If you force me to stay here, I will find a way to get to her.” “You won’t have the chance.“Jonathan replied firmly. “I’ll do my best to keep the n
two of you from meeting.”
I smirked. “Is that so? Well, I’ll just create the opportunity. As long as Alicia keeps coming there, I’ll make sure to make her lite difficult.”
Then stay in this room, Jogathan said, standing up. “I’ll be here every night. You won’t need to ghput.”
