No More Mrs. Nice Wife (Eleanor) novel Chapter 811

"I just ran into Miss Goodwin in the lobby. She's on her way up to see you."

Vanessa paused, a small smile playing on her lips.

A knock came at the door. Vanessa didn't answer, but a moment later, Serena Goodwin pushed the door open and walked in. She was about to say something when she noticed Vanessa engrossed in her phone. Curious, Serena tiptoed over to the bedside, planning to surprise her.

"Vanessa, what are you looking at so intently?"

Vanessa jumped, and her phone fell onto the covers. She quickly tried to snatch it away.

"Serena, don't look!"

Serena hadn't intended to, but Vanessa's reaction piqued her curiosity. "What is it that I'm not allowed to see?"

As Vanessa grabbed the phone, the video was still playing. Serena caught a glimpse of Eleanor collapsing into a man's arms and immediately snatched the phone from her hand.

She replayed the video from the beginning. When it finished, her expression was one of pure disgust.

"Don't tell your brother," Vanessa said, taking her phone back. "I don't want this to affect him."

Serena scoffed. "Affect him? More like disgust him."

"Still, Serena, don't say anything to him. And don't mention you saw it on my phone. My sister sent it to me, and I don't want to cause trouble for her."

"Don't worry. Even if I sent it to my brother, he wouldn't care. It's Eleanor's business whose arms she wants to be in," Serena said dismissively. As long as Eleanor stayed away from her brother, she couldn't care less.

But Vanessa insisted. "Serena, promise me you won't tell him."

Serena had always known Vanessa was fond of her niece. Hearing this only reinforced her belief that Vanessa was a kind and gracious woman—the kind of woman even she admired.

Meanwhile, the video Vanessa had sent to Henry was festering in his mind. He was driving to his office, and the more he thought about it, the angrier he became. It was completely unfair to Xavier.

As far as Henry was concerned, Eleanor was leading Xavier on. So why was she off hugging another man? What was that all about?

At a red light, the frustration became too much. He spun the wheel and headed straight for the Vaughn Group headquarters. A phone call wasn't enough. He had to go there in person and talk some sense into Xavier face-to-face.

When Henry strode into the Vaughn Group lobby, the receptionist immediately came to greet him, but he waved her off. "I'll find him myself."
