“We better get out of here and do what we came here to do.” Raven suggests as we head toward the broken stairwell. Climbing the rubble is much harder than going down it.

We walk down the hall, and I close my eyes going past the heat rooms and head through the main area of the building.

“Wait here.” Raven leave through the main doors and returns a few moments later with a gas can, she holds it out for me to take.

I can’t explain the feeling I have looking at the handle of this can in my paliu. My heart races but my veins course with excitement with the thought of watching this place burn. The tightness in my chest starts to loosen and I can’t help the smile that starts to cross my face.

“Pour it wherever you want, BUT you light it outside. You know smoke and pregnancy stuff” Raven losses a rock up and down in the air as she waits for me to start my revenge tour. I got it now. This feeling that I have found within me. A momentum to keep going. To keep conquering. To keep the fight to take down the ring alive. I feel it all.

I walk down the heat clinic halls with a new purpose. They will never use this place again and if they attempt to rebuild, I will burn the next one and the one after that. This ends with me. No more abductions. No more victims.

I pour the gas through the rooms and down the hall. I dip into the rubble stairwell of the dungeon and make a look before climbing back up. I throw the can in the main area when I return.

“The smell is getting to me. I may lose my cookies.” I cough as we head out of the building.

“That’s a shame. Monica is making you a cake to celebrate, but if you don’t feel well..

“No, I will be fine, keep the cake.” I growl as she starts to laugh

As we exit Raven strikes a match and hands it to me. “Congratulations, you win.” She states and she’s right. This feels like a victory. I went from the cage to burning this place down. I smile big as I turn toward the building again.

“I won.” and I threw the match down on the ground. The fire flares up fast and hot as it follows the trails through the yard and into the building. I got back toward Raven’s car and sat on the hood to watch the show,

“I won.” I repeat as Raven sits next to me.

“You win.” She turns to me and shakes her hand through my messy white hair. Rubble throughout the entire mass starts to fall out of my hair. Hers is no better. The wild red curls big and wild with their own building treasures throughout.

I watch the flame consume the rest of the building. The smoke is big and black. Dark and hot. Too hot. We turn and look at each other before climbing off the car and getting it. I watch from the side mirror as the entire compound is engulfed in flames.

“Yeah…sure….it’s s fine. Raven checks her mirror, then pulling onto another road, a lot quicker than when we arrived.

‘That was pretty reckless.” I say.

“Damn good.” Raven smiles and speeds up. I quickly find my spew cup and hold it tightly.

“I’m going to help you. With taking down the ring. I’m going to stay and help.” Raven tells me, not taking her

“Yeah. We will be doing some revenging.” She turns and grins hugely at me. Her eyes flare with mischief.

“Can our inates help? We may need muscle.” I ask, feeling out her future plans.

I get comfortable in the car and settle against the headrest. I place my hand over my stomach and squeeze my little pup within. My pants are getting tighter, and I can feel a faint bump. I drift off thinking about my future family with a smile on my face.

Five seconds ago, I could have killed Raven. Quite literally abducting my mate and then taking her to an emotional nightmare before setting half the wilderness of fire. It was immature, reckless, and it endangered my mate and pup.
