On Her Daddy's Bed (Adeline and Luciano) novel Chapter 84

Author’s POV.

Axel walked into the room where Mr. Austin and his family were tied up.

He walked in emotionlessly, the sight of them bringing him both joy and satisfaction.

A smirk suddenly appeared on the other side of his face as he stared at the horrible sight of Mr. Austin and his entire family.

The vision of how brutally he was going to end their lives played in his mind, and he smiled happily. He was going to kill them in the exact way they killed his family, and he wouldn’t mind giving up this penthouse for them because he had built it just so he could give them the memories of a past life when Mr. Austin murdered his parents.

“Good evening, boss.” The men, dressed in black and standing in a straight line, bowed their heads to Axel, and he waved his hand at them.

He drew a seat and sat right in front of Mr. Austin, whose face was covered with a black tote bag.

“Who do we have here?” Axel grinned devilishly, signaling one of his men to uncover his face.

The cold, deadly voice of Axel resounded in Mr. Austin’s head, and cold, bloody chills ran down his veins.

His hands quivered as he stared at the dreadful sight of Axel. He knew his days on earth were numbered the day he left with Tracy safely, and today, he knew this would be the end of his entire life.

But his family? They were not here. He looked around, hoping to see them. His guards had caught them a few hours before they got to the airport, trying to escape. Could they have gotten away? He asked himself, still staring around.

It was quite a relief to him not seeing them here—they might have escaped. He had kept them away for a long time and made sure Tracy never knew anything about them. He had a mistress whom he paid to be Tracy’s mother at that time. He had married her illegally, and they needed a child to complete their deal, so he adopted Tracy along the line.

When he found out that the lady was growing fond of Tracy, he killed her after discovering that Tracy was the lost daughter of the Darwins, the friends he so much hated. It was an opportunity for him. He fed her with bad drugs for a good fifteen years so she wouldn’t have an idea of her past life.

He had planned to use her to his advantage, but the tables had turned now, and he really wished he had never taken her in. He really wished he hadn’t kept her. She was the reason Axel got to him this quickly.

“Looks like someone is thinking about his already due death.”

The deadly and sinful voice of Axel pulled him from his train of thoughts.

Mr. Austin stared at Axel, the fear in his eyes suddenly vanishing.

“You can go ahead and kill me, Axel. My son would come back for you. He will hunt you and kill you like the garbage you are, and that mafia clan? He will rule over it like I own it,” he spat, laughing out mischievously, and Axel smirked.

“What son are you talking about? The one who would watch me chop off his father’s fingers or the one who would fuck his mother and watch the others eat his father’s cock? Which?” He mocked with a dark grin, and Mr. Austin’s eyes narrowed.

“You do not think you can fool me now, right, Axel? I am not going to be a fool and apologize because you are giving an empty threat,” he grinned, and Axel flashed him a smile.

“Dear Mr. Austin. I like your bravery.” He smiled, but his face suddenly contorted into a hard frown. “But do you think for a single moment that your apology would erase all the days of pain you have caused me? No.” He shook his head and grinned, calling out to Alex.

“Bring them in.”

Alex bowed and walked out, then returned in a minute with the guards bringing in his family, a gun to their heads as they walked in line, their hands tied up, and their faces swollen from beatings.

Mr. Austin’s face dropped. He thought they had run away, but he was doomed. Was he going to die with all his lineage and leave all his wealth to no one?

“No…” he shook.

“Don’t hurt them, Axel. I promise I will kill you if you hurt them in any way,” he fisted his teeth angrily, and Axel smirked.

“What a brave man. Even in your death time, you are being so feisty.” Axel scoffed and smirked as he watched his wife and children get thrown to the floor.

“Father…” they called, and he stared at them with pain in his eyes. He never saw this day coming. The image of that one day played in his head—just like this.

His friend and wife were seated, begging and pleading for their lives.

“I am sorry,” his voice cracked, and Axel’s face darkened, the pain from that day playing in his head.

If only “sorry” could take away the pain. If only “sorry” could take away the years of misery. If only “sorry” could help heal him.
