Elena watched as Dante drove off at the highest speed. Her hand tightened into a fist her heart clenched and tears rolled out of her eyes, she stood on the lonely dark road with no car passing her stomach grumbling with pain turning into every part of her body.

Her heart clenched and her legs hurt deeply from how well she had orgasmed, But the pain in her heart was unbearable. She didn't know why it had to hurt this much but it just did.

He was being so nice extraordinarily nice a while ago. So what changed? Was he really the same man who carried her around around? And refused to let anything hurt her? She stared at the part his already Invisible car took, holding back the tears that threatened to fall.

Dante drove furiously into the compound, and just like he expected, Nanny Teresa was already outside with an umbrella in her hand. The moment she got a glimpse of him, she walked down to the parking lot and handed him the umbrella carefully making sure that the water did not touch his skin.

Nanny Teresa stared around looking for Elena after she had handed him the umbrella.

“Young master, where is Elena?” she asked In the calmest way ever trying not to inflame his anger, but he gave no reply. He just stared at her and walked away with the umbrella covering him while she trailed behind him.

As soon as Dante got to the house. He took the elevator and walked to his room ignoring Nanny Teresa.

Dante walked into his room, his ass met the bed and he sent his hand into his hair, guilt sliding into his body.

His heart clenched and he tightened his fist as the thought about how scared she would be pierced into him.

Although he had called Antonio to pick her up, it wasn't enough. He failed already. He failed to protect her. The guilt that washed through him surged into every part of his soul threatening to rip him.

He stood up and walked to the window, hoping to be there to see her walk in.

He watched as nanny Teresa stayed outside the house with the umbrella to her head, pacing to and fro, with fear walking deep inside of her.

As soon as Antonio drove into the house she walked to the parking lot and tried covering Elena with the duvet, but the moment Elena stepped out of the car, she fell off.

Dante's heart clenched at the sight of that, he slammed his phone to the wall letting out a rough grunt and ruffling his hair angrily.

He walked out of his room and his legs found the Elevator immediately in no time Dante was outside. On the rain, the very rain he watched his mother die in. The rain that traumatized him. The rain he had never walked into to save Hylex before. He had stepped into that rain without giving a fuck. He would die if anything happened to Elena. He knew it. He didn't have to be told. He didn't know what this unexplainable feeling was, but he knew he would die if she died the moment he broke all the rules just to make her happy.

“Young master.” Nanny Teresa called with both surprise and concern lacing in her voice as she watched Dante walk into the room without a bulge.

“You. You are in the rain.” she was startled but Dante said no words aside from sterner glares.

“Step aside.” he commanded sternly and Nanny Teresa did as he had commanded immediately.

He stared coldly at Antonio before taking her from Antonio.

“I would have your head rolling off if anything ever happens to her. “

The look in his eye, they both knew it. It was one they had not seen in 10 years. It was the look he had wrapped up after the death of Hylex, it was the one of care and genuine intention.

Antonio bowed and he watched as Dante took the lead with Elena in his arm.

He placed her on the chair immediately looking all worked up. Dante blamed himself for leaving her under the heavy rain without a thought.
