Chapter 96: The Luna’s Wrath
(Elena’s POV)
When I heard these words, the blood in my body seemed to freeze. Looking at Sophia Rivers‘ triumphant expression, I realized that she was the one behind my mother’s fall.
The pieces clicked into place with horrifying clarity. Her smug satisfaction, the way she’d positioned herself at the scene, the convenient timing of everything.
No wonder Marcus Blackwood didn’t let me go to the Northern Territory Pack Enforcement Headquarters. No wonder he didn’t tell me why my mother fell. It was all because of Sophia Rivers.
I clenched my fists, my eyes instantly turning red. The rage building inside me felt like molten lava threatening to erupt.
Sophia approached and stopped in front of me, her voice dripping with false innocence. “Actually, I really didn’t want her to die, but unfortunately, she heard something she shouldn’t have.”
She tilted her head with mock sympathy. “She can only blame herself for her bad luck.”
My body trembled, my emotions on the verge of exploding. “Why did you do this?”
“Didn’t I say it was an accident?” Sophia showed no remorse, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. “It’s just her bad luck.”
The casual way she dismissed my mother’s death made my vision blur with fury. “Besides my my brother and father also accidents?”

I grabbed her wrist, my fingers digging into her skin. “Just because Marcus Blackwood indulges you and protects you, you can be so unscrupulous? Do you really think he can protect you forever?”
“So what?” Sophia pushed me away, her arrogance on full display. “Even if he can’t protect me forever, he won’t sit idly by when it comes to my affairs, and this time is the same.”
Her confidence was sickening. “You keep saying you’ll leave him, have you left now? I knew you couldn’t bear to give up the identity of Luna.”
She
stepped closer, her voice turning vicious. “Since you insist on competing with me, why should I be polite to you?”
My chest suddenly tightened, the color fading from my face. The truth hit me like a physical blow
“So you had to hurt them!” The words tore from my throat.
“Who told them to be the people you care about?” Sophia said fiercely, her mask finally slipping completely. “1 can’t touch you, but can’t I touch them? You forced me to this, you shouldn’t have approached Oliver Rivers.”
I was momentarily stunned. Was it because I approached Oliver and discovered the injury on his leg? Was she afraid she wouldn’t be able to hide it?
Thinking of this, I suddenly laughed, the sound hollow and bitter. “If Marcus Blackwood knew what you were really like, wouldn’t it be ridiculous?”
Chapter 96 The Luna’s Wh
Sophia’s face stiffened slightly, then quickly returned to normal, full of confidence. “He loves me so much, even if he discovers my true colors, he will still love me.”
Her certainty was like a knife twisting in my chest. “On the other hand, you, your father and mother are gone. and you have a comatose brother who doesn’t know how long he can last.”
She tutted, placing her hand on my shoulder with mock sympathy. I heard you finally integrated into a family, and now it’s all gone, how pitiful.”
Her touch burned like acid on my skin. “If your brother is also gone, then you will be even more miserable, right?”
Sophia wanted to deliberately provoke me, preferably drive me crazy. The Blackwood family wouldn’t want a madwoman, would they?
I stared at her blankly. It turned out that when people were most angry, they didn’t scream hysterically.
The rage inside me crystallized into something cold and deadly. My vision narrowed until all I could see was her smug face.
As the Steel Ascent doors opened, Sophia turned around. The moment she saw Marcus Blackwood appear, she put on another face. “Marcus”
Marcus frowned slightly when he saw her. His gaze shifted to my face, which seemed to have lost all vitality, filled with death.
Looking at Sophia appearing here, he instantly understood something, his face gloomy. “Why are you here?”
Sophia was stunned. She sensed the Alpha’s anger towards her for the first time. She clenched her fists, explaining carefully. “Marcus… Patricia’s matter was really not intentional, I just wanted to cr nd apologize to Elena…”
Before Marcus could say anything, I turned and went into the Master Suite. My movements were mechanical, purposeful.
His jaw twitched, stopping in front of Sophia. “Sophia, you shouldn’t have appeared in front of her.”
“Marcus, I really came to apologize, otherwise, my conscience won’t let me live with myself.”
“Don’t you know when to apologize?” Marcus rubbed his temples, speechless at Sophia’s stupidity for the first time.
Sophia was stunned for a few seconds, lowering her eyes and biting her lip. So he cared about Elena’s feelings!
I walked out of the Master Suite again, heading straight towards them. At this moment, I wasn’t thinking about anything. Hatred had consumed me completely.
The silver dagger felt cold and familiar in my hand. I’d taken it from my medical kit, the one I used for precise. surgical procedures.
Marcus suddenly sensed something, pushing Sophia away. The silver dagger in my hand pierced into his
side.
Sophia’s face turned pale at the sight, retreating repeatedly in fear. “Elena!”
As Marcus felt the pain, his face also lost color. He grabbed my hand holding the dagger, pressing down
hard, his eyes bloodshot. “Elena…
I reacted, subconsciously releasing the dagger handle, staggering back two steps. I actually wanted to kill
them… Was I really crazy?
The sight of blood spreading across Marcus’s shirt snapped me back to reality. What had I done?
Sophia took out her phone to call the Northern Territory Pack Enforcement Division, but as soon as she dialed, Marcus snatched the phone away.
His voice was weak, his hand covering the wound still bleeding. “Don’t call.”
“Marcus, she was trying to kill you!” Sophia’s voice was shrill with panic.
Marcus gritted his teeth, his pale face terribly cold. “I said no!”
Sophia quickly tried to stop the bleeding for Marcus, calling for a Shadowmere Private Healing Sanctuary ambulance. Her hands shook as she pressed against the wound.
I stood there, motionless from beginning to end, not even saying a word of apology. The shock of what I’d done paralyzed me completely.
When the ambulance arrived, he was taken away on a stretcher. Before losing consciousness due to excessive blood loss, he was still explaining that his Luna had accidentally injured him, telling them not to call the authorities.
Sophia, who was by Marcus’s side, had a very ugly expression. Her plans were crumbling around her.
(God’s POV)
When Victoria Blackwood learned that her son had been stabbed and was being rescued facility, she rushed to Shadowmere Private Healing Sanctuary.

Outside the Emergency Healing Bay, she didn’t see Elena, only Sophia. She frowned. “Why are you here, where
is his mate?”
“Mrs. Blackwood, Elena wanted to kill Marcus!” Sophia narrated the events with a look of horror, exaggerating
the facts.
Victoria, of course, didn’t believe that Elena wanted to kill her son. “What nonsense are you talking about?”
“Whether I’m talking nonsense or not, you can ask Elena later!” Sophia’s voice rose with desperation.
Victoria was stunned. Even if Sophia was lying, she couldn’t be so sure. Could it really be Elena who stabbed her son?
“Miss Rivers, even if Elena is Marcus’s mate, if Elena has a motive for murder, we should call the Pack Enforcement Division. Victoria’s voice was cold with logic. “Domestic violence is intentional injury, let alone stabbing someone with a silver dagger?”
“Marcus is being rescued inside, we don’t know what will happen, at least calling the authorities now will allow them to find out why Elena attacked Marcus.”
Sophia was now eager to get Elena into the enforcement station, taking advantage of Marcus’s recovery to deal with Elena. The Blackwood family wouldn’t do anything to her.
