“Let’s rescind your order, Grandpa. I’ve already promised to let Blanca come into the office for work,” Matthew said, his face giving nothing away.

She’d wanted to put Louise in that office instead, but then the old man had gone and said that girls should stay at home and learned their stuff - play the piano or tend the flowers or something.
