Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 474

In the heat of their struggle, the office door swung open. Brad barged in and yanked Tyler away from Nadine. The man wasted no time in raining punches down on Tyler's face. The sound of the blows was enough to make anyone wince.

In the midst of the chaos, a glowing red device slipped out of Tyler's pocket. It was still blinking, showing that it was still recording. Even as he threw punches, Brad made sure to grind the small device under his foot.

He spat at Tyler, "Tyler Sullivan, have you sunk so low that you're making money off of women now? How much were you going to make from that video? Have you ever considered Nadine's feelings? If this is what you call love, then she's unlucky to have you in her life!"

Tyler didn't bother to defend himself. His family was teetering on the brink of ruin, and if he didn't figure something out soon, they'd be bankrupt. Nadine's reputation was a small price to pay in comparison.

Moreover, if her reputation was tarnished beyond repair, it would give her the perfect excuse to divorce Brad. Then, he could marry her, love her the way she deserved, and give her the very best of everything.

However, Brad's sudden appearance threw a wrench into his plans.

Nadine quickly regained her composure. For a moment, she felt grateful for Brad as she watched him and Tyler scuffle. If it weren't for Brad, she never would've realized that Tyler had been carrying a hidden camera.

If that video had been posted online, her reputation would've been ruined. That said, her gratitude amounted to only a sliver and was short-lived.

By sheer coincidence, she spotted Nadine in the garden, and her eyes immediately lit up. Jennifer quickened her pace and rushed to Nadine, her eyes curving into a smile.

"Nadine, it's me—your mom! Why didn't you say hello when you saw me? That's rude, you know. You should always greet your elders when you see them, and you have to smile when you do it, okay?"

Nadine didn't want to see her. Her expression hardened, and she responded icily, "I don't have a mom. My mom died a long time ago!"
