Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 566

Still hesitant, Nadine glanced at Sean, who immediately jumped out of the car and grabbed her hand. He tugged her toward the vehicle. "Mommy, please just say yes! I haven't had tuna tartare in forever, and I really want to have it today!"

She looked at her son's cherubic face and nodded. She gently ruffled his hair and responded tenderly, "Alright, let's go."

Sean immediately clapped his hands. "Yay! You're the best, Mommy! Thank you!" He then wrapped his arms around her neck and kissed her cheek.

Brad got into the car after Nadine, closed the door, and told the driver to start the engine. A smile spread across his face as he watched the mother-son's exchange.

He was green with envy when he saw Sean kiss Nadine. He couldn't help but tease, "I'm the one who wanted to take you out. Why did you only kiss Mommy?"

The little one nimbly squeezed between the two adults, turned sideways, and wrapped his arms around Brad's neck, planting a kiss on his cheek as well. "How's that? Thank you, Daddy!"

Brad touched the spot where Sean had kissed him, feeling a whirlwind of emotions inside. This was the first time Sean had taken the initiative to kiss him, but it made him feel as though they were deeply connected.

For some reason, Brad felt as if something deep within him was awakening when Sean's lips touched his cheek.

Since it was for their son's sake, and Brad didn't act like a madman this time, she decided to go along with it. As long as she stayed true to herself and did not get emotionally involved with him, everything would be fine.

Brad remained silent throughout the ride. He simply observed the exchange between Nadine and Sean, not wanting to interrupt the heartwarming moment.

It dawned on him then that he had never truly taken a good look at Nadine throughout their six years of marriage. He had never noticed how beautiful her smile could be.

Nadine wasn't the kind of beauty who would take one's breath away, but she had a way of growing on people. Even though there were times when she resembled Jean, he could still easily tell the two apart.
