Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 767

As soon as she noticed him going for ice cream, Nadine hurried after Sean, fearing she might lose sight of her son. With that, only Brad and Tyler remained at the dining table, each eyeing the other with rivalry.

Tyler glared at Brad. "Brad Hamilton, you two are divorced now. You're just her ex-husband!"

Tensions rose when rivals met each other. Tyler had a crush on Nadine for years, and now that he had returned home and she was divorced, he couldn't let such a good opportunity slip away. He really liked Nadine, his first love. His regret drove him to keep a close eye on her life every day.

When he learned that Nadine had officially announced her divorce, he was more exhilarated than if he'd won the lottery, and he couldn't sleep all night. He raced to Rose Garden and parked outside Avery's apartment building, staring up at the window where Nadine lay behind.

It felt more surreal than a miraculous windfall. Yet, as memories of the past flooded back, the fear of being disliked by Nadine held him back from confessing his feelings. His past confession had gone unanswered, and rather than bringing them closer, it seemed to have led to her developing a dislike for him.

This left him in a stalemate, feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place. Initially, he had resigned himself to his fate and was ready to accept his mother's plans for him to go on blind dates. However, he unexpectedly ran into Nadine.

When he spotted Nadine, who was already divorced and yet still entangled with Brad, jealousy surged within him. Without a second thought, he marched up to Brad. The sight of Brad, who looked determined to win Nadine back, fanned the flames of his anger.

How dare he? He had married Nadine but never truly appreciated her. Why were they still entangled after finally getting divorced? What was the point of the divorce, then? Was it a case of divorce without separation, or did Brad have other plans in mind?

When confronted with Tyler's furious expression, Brad remained unfazed. He simply lifted his gaze and sneered, "I might be her ex-husband, but you weren't even her ex. You've never had a place in Nadine's heart. Don't you think that's laughable?"

Tyler's previous jab had met its mark, but Brad didn't pull his punches either. His words were sharp, and the look he gave Tyler was steeped in disdain.

Brad laughed. The corners of his eyes crinkled, and his beautiful, almond-shaped eyes sparkled. "You know, I used to think only girls could be self-serving and manipulative, but now I know guys can be manipulative too.

"I guess I've been living under a rock. Mr. Sullivan, your manipulative behavior deserves a place in the history books for future generations to reference!"

Even though a smile graced his face, it didn't reach his eyes and was laced with disdain. The look in Brad's eyes stung Tyler.

"Brad Hamilton, enough with your insults! Nad is no longer your wife, and any man has the right to pursue her—except you! If I were you, I'd stay far away from her. The way you cling to her now just makes it seem like you can't let her go!"
