Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 795

Initially, when Daniel locked Evelyn in the basement, Brad had found out about it and pleaded on behalf of her. After all, she was the one who had raised him.

Evelyn had given him everything a mother could offer, and he couldn't just stand by and watch her suffer. Even though she had hurt him, he couldn't bring himself to hate her.

Moreover, Jean had done far worse. He would rather think that Jean had manipulated Evelyn into doing those evil deeds.

Daniel sighed and eventually told him that he wasn't Evelyn's biological son. He went on to explain that Jean was Evelyn's daughter. Legally speaking, Jean was Brad's cousin.

Brad no longer had any romantic feelings toward Jean. Despite not being his biological mother, Evelyn had cared for him all these years as though he was her own flesh and blood, treating him better than his biological mother did.

It was often said that those who raised us deserved greater appreciation than those who simply gave us life. Brad genuinely didn't know how to face Evelyn now. He felt torn and still hadn't figured out what to do with her.

He could finally confront Jean calmly now. A couple of days ago, while he was having dinner with Nadine, that despicable man, Tyler, had suddenly brought up the incident at Palace Hotel, which set off alarm bells in his mind.

That night, he wasn't even sure who that woman was, so how could Tyler be so certain it was Jean? Moreover, after speaking with him, he had gone to Nadine and started spewing nonsense. This made him question Tyler's intentions.

Furthermore, her skin had taken on a ghastly pale hue from being deprived of sunlight for such an extended period of time.

Jean didn't seem aware of these changes, though, and when she saw Brad, she flashed her most beautiful smile. "What's that supposed to mean, Brad? Don't you believe what I've told you?"

In the past, she had insisted to Brad that she was the woman from that night, and he had believed her. So why was he bringing it up again now? With a bodyguard standing in her way, she couldn't hug Brad, so she had to settle for talking to him instead.
