Brad and Sebastian were both exceptionally handsome men, each with a magnetic presence. Hence, when these two good-looking, suave men started arguing in front of the hotel entrance, it immediately attracted a crowd of onlookers.
The group was in Pittsbrew, not Janctera City, so few recognized them. To the gathering crowd, it simply looked like two gorgeous men were fighting over a woman.
"Wow, those two guys are really good-looking! What do you think they're arguing about?"
"Don't you see the woman with the kid standing next to them? They're at a hotel entrance; my guess is she cheated, and her husband caught her in the act. Why else would two men be fighting like this?"
"So, this is one of those classic soapy opera scenes. But both of those guys are so ridiculously handsome! If I were her, I wouldn't give up on either of them!"
"Right? Who is this woman anyway? How'd she get two drop-dead gorgeous men? The crazy part is, she's already a mom! I swear, the world's changed so much that I can barely keep up. I can't believe a woman with a kid has two hot men vying for her attention."
"Man, you haven't seen the half of it. Anyway, we're here for the show, so don't ruin it for us. Let's enjoy it while it lasts."
"Wait, why's the woman leaving?"
"She left with her son! It's just the two of them now, so what's the point of watching anymore?"
"Cut it out, you two! The woman's already left with her son!"
If the bystanders hadn't pointed it out, Brad and Sebastian would have kept at it. Once they realized that Nadine had left with Sean, they stopped and chased after her.
"Nad!"
The cab driver stepped on the gas, and with a loud rev, the car shot forward, leaving Brad and Sebastian in the dust.
Nadine looked at the tightly closed car door and breathed a sigh of relief. Honestly, if those two men had managed to come along, who knew what kind of chaos would have ensued? She didn't want either of them tagging along.
The driver, noticing that the man didn't get in through the rearview mirror, looked apologetic as he said to Nadine in the back seat, "Sorry about that, miss. I thought he was chasing after you. I didn't think he'd slam the door shut.
"If you ask me, you're better off with someone new—someone better. Don't be upset. If you want, I can turn the car around."
His words made Nadine laugh. "It's okay. Don't worry about it. Please just take us somewhere fun in Pittsbrew." Now that she was free from Brad and Sebastian, Nadine felt much better. She decided to hire the cab driver for the day, letting him take her and Sean around Pittsbrew.
