She couldn’t tell if Lydia was just trying to scare them into slipping up or if she really could recover the deleted footage. If Lydia actually pulled it off, what would they do then?

Grace didn’t even have time to come up with a plan before Judy came back, carrying Lydia’s laptop. Lucinda watched in shock as Lydia took the computer and started typing, her fingers moving so fast it was almost dizzying. Was Lydia really that good? Could she actually get the data back? What was she supposed to do now?

Lydia worked quickly. In less than five minutes, she had the footage up. She gave a small, satisfied smile. “Done.”

Blake watched her, quietly impressed. How could his little sister be this amazing?

Elliot spoke up, unable to hide his curiosity. “Lydia, can you put it on the TV? Let’s all see what happened.”
