Garrett honestly couldn’t care less about dating right now. Work kept piling up and he barely had time to breathe, let alone think about finding a girlfriend. Plus, it’s not like his siblings were rushing into relationships either. Blake, Arthur, and Elliot were all single, so why should he be in a hurry?
The next morning, everyone at Capital Med School was buzzing with excitement. News had spread that senior researchers from the national medical institute were coming to visit for a while. When people found out that the legendary Garrett Norwood would be there, the girls basically lost their minds.
Someone even managed to snap a picture of Garrett heading into the special lab that morning and posted it on the school forum. He looked ridiculously good in that shot.
That’s when it clicked for Fiona and Monica. No wonder Lydia seemed so confident with her medical skills. She must have been learning from her own genius brother all this time.
At lunch, Monica rested her chin on her hand, staring at Lydia with envy. “Lydia, you’re so lucky. I wish I could trade lives with you.”
Lydia smiled and shrugged. “Honestly, any kid who’s loved by their family is lucky.”
That was what happiness meant to her. Before she moved back in with the Norwoods, her adoptive parents barely paid attention to her. But she had her grandmother. Being with her grandma always felt like enough.
Fiona grinned. “Monica’s just jealous because you have such amazing brothers. Seriously, Lydia, you have no idea. Everyone at school is talking about your brother Garrett. He’s become every girl’s top crush.”
Lydia raised an eyebrow, amused. “Really?”
Fiona nodded. “Yep. The only thing saving him is that he’s always in the special lab and hardly anyone can get in. Otherwise, half the girls here would probably be fighting each other to get to him.”
Monica perked up, remembering something. “Oh, and get this. There’s a thread on the forum saying only Yara is good enough for Mr. Norwood. Like, what’s so special about being the school queen? You totally beat her at the beginning of the semester.”

Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
