Rebirth in 1986: Unforgettable Regrets novel Chapter 290

Chapter 290: Chapter 290: I Have Enough Self-Control

"Let’s go for a walk to digest our food." Mo Siyu held Tang Yue’s hand and strolled through the bustling streets.

Mo Siyu’s tall figure stood next to Tang Yue, ensuring she was never squeezed by the crowd no matter how busy it was, allowing her to focus on things she found interesting.

"Do you see anything you like?" Mo Siyu asked. The night market’s lights were dim, casting a soft glow on her face that added a faint radiance, blurring her delicate features a bit but her bright eyes still shone brilliantly, outshining the stars in the sky.

"Hehe." Tang Yue approached a vendor’s stall and immediately noticed a pair of dolls, one blue and one pink. Though small, the dolls were exquisitely made, perfect for hanging on keys or a small backpack.

"Boss, how much for these two dolls?" Tang Yue picked up the dolls and inquired.

The price was unexpectedly cheap, and the dolls felt comfortable in her hand. Tang Yue, without hesitating, paid right away without bargaining since the price was so reasonable that it even felt awkward to haggle.

"Do they look good?" Tang Yue excitedly put the two dolls in front of him, asking as if she was presenting treasures.

Although inexpensive, they indeed looked nice.

"They look nice." Mo Siyu glanced at them and replied, then his gaze fell on her sweet smile, and it was unclear whether he meant she or the dolls looked nice.

Holding the two dolls dearly, Tang Yue strolled back to the hotel. Apart from these two dolls, she didn’t buy anything else. She handed him the pink female doll saying, "This one’s for you."

With a pursed lip smile, the pink female doll looked very small in Mo Siyu’s large hand, forming a stark contrast with his tall stature. Tang Yue found herself amused by this sight, and her smile had not ceased since she placed the doll in his hand.

"Hahaha~" Tang Yue laughed, her brows curved in joy, her laughter sounding particularly pleasant.

Mo Siyu pinched the doll and placed it near Tang Yue’s face, stating somewhat meaningfully, "It kind of resembles you."

With those words, Mo Siyu pinched the little doll’s face.

Tang Yue’s smile suddenly froze, and she scrutinized the doll, trying to figure out in what ways the doll resembled her.

Finally, Tang Yue concluded, "I am prettier than the doll."

"Right, the doll can’t compare to our little fairy, at most... it’s half as beautiful as our little fairy." Mo Siyu’s gaze settled deeply on Tang Yue’s face.

Tang Yue quickly turned around, "I’m going to take a bath."

She grabbed her clothes from her bag and headed to the bathroom next door.

After who knows how long, Tang Yue finished a drawing and stretched lazily, only to discover that Mo Siyu had been watching her all along. Her stretch halted halfway and quickly retreated, her adorable appearance made him unable to resist drawing close.

Mo Siyu pulled her into his arms in one swift motion. After the shower, she carried the same fragrance as him, a scent that drew him in even closer.

"Xiao Yue." Mo Siyu muttered her name, his dark eyes seemed to hold two flames that could burn her up. The drawing, unnoticed, had fallen under the bed.

The couple, engaged to be married, in the same room, on the same bed, hearts and bodies instinctively drawing closer. Even a gentle kiss could instantly ignite the passion in their hearts.

In a daze, Tang Yue suddenly realized Mo Siyu had stopped, her passionate eyes shining brighter than usual, radiating a captivating glow, with an added touch of coquetry, her cheeks pink and lips moist and particularly enticing.

The flames in Mo Siyu’s eyes burned even fiercer, and suddenly, he stood up and ran towards the bathroom.

Tang Yue hadn’t yet realized what happened. By the time she sat up, she noticed that the notebook she was holding had vanished, her clothes were nowhere to be found, and the only thing left was a small garment still on her body.

In the hotel with not so great soundproofing, she could clearly hear the water running in the bathroom. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Tang Yue’s face flushed red, realizing what had just happened, she hurriedly found her clothes to put on and wrapped herself tightly in the quilt, not moving an inch.
