Rebirth in 1986: Unforgettable Regrets novel Chapter 460

Chapter 460: Chapter 460: You’re the Homewrecker (Third Update)

Especially since an eggshell landed on Xiang Yazhi’s hair, and the remaining egg white inside the shell slid down her hair, dripping onto her forehead.

"Ah..."

Xiang Yazhi’s scream rang out, startling the little birds in the Gushu tree outside, fluttering their wings and flying up.

So disgusting.

Xiang Yazhi desperately wiped the filth from her face and hair, and her body, but the more she wiped, the dirt seemed never to get clean, and that nauseating smell kept creeping into her nose, making Xiang Yazhi feel as sick as if she had swallowed a fly.

"Tang Yue, I’m not playing with you." Xiang Yazhi shrieked, losing all composure.

"Annoying as heck." Lian Tong walked out of the studio. From the moment Xiang Yazhi entered the door to her screaming now, she saw everything clear as day. She originally intended to pull Tang Yue away, but never expected Tang Yue to react even faster than she anticipated, not to mention setting a trap for Xiang Yazhi. Lian Tong was secretly applauding inside.

"Sister-in-law, you come in wanting to hit someone, but hit the trash can instead, and you still have the face to yell?"

"If I were you, I’d feel so ashamed, I’d have hidden away already."

Lian Tong’s mocking voice held not a shred of respect, with that ’Sister-in-law’ sounding more like a taunt at Xiang Yazhi.

"Lian Tong?" Xiang Yazhi threw the eggshells away in a frenzy, she wiped her forehead, but the sticky sensation of the egg white remained constant. She, Xiang Yazhi, has never tolerated being so filthy from childhood to adulthood. Now seeing that Lian Tong was here too, she was extremely furious. She said, "Aren’t you the one who loves Qingyang the most? This jinx caused Qingyang’s leg to end up like this, aren’t you going to avenge Qingyang?"

"I’m just here to seek justice for Qingyang." Xiang Yazhi pointed at Tang Yue while saying this.

"How is Xiao Yue related to Qingyang’s leg injury?" Lian Tong leaned against the door frame, with Bai Qing present, Xiang Yazhi couldn’t get close to Tang Yue.

"Of course it’s related. If it wasn’t for saving Xiao Yue, how would Qingyang’s leg have gotten hurt?" When Xiang Yazhi heard the true story of Lian Qingyang’s injury from Tao Yujun’s mouth, she was seething with anger.

Her own son, but to save the daughter of a vixen, he injured his leg.

Xiang Yazhi couldn’t feel at peace no matter how she thought about it, so she came to find Tang Yue in a rage.

"If she wasn’t like her mother, fooling around in every way, how could those men have resorted to such vile tactics? And even involved Qingyang?" Xiang Yazhi looked at Tang Yue with disdain.

Tang Yue’s face slowly darkened, and she snatched the bowl from Bai Qing’s hand, hurling it fiercely at Xiang Yazhi.

"Ah..."

"Clang."

The scream and the shattering sound of the bowl hitting the ground rang out simultaneously, Xiang Yazhi stepped back, but didn’t watch her step, and staggered.

The shoulder that was hit by Tang Yue hurt so much that tears flowed from Xiang Yazhi’s eyes.

"You think, if Lian He knew about the tactics you used, or some of the shameful things you’ve done, would he still continue to be with you?" Tang Yue said slowly, her voice steady. Witnessing the guilt and retreat in Xiang Yazhi’s eyes made her feel indignant on behalf of her mother.

Ignoring what Lian He might think, at the very least, he must have been true to her mother back then. If it hadn’t been for Xiang Yazhi, her mother wouldn’t have been nearly driven to death by the villagers when she was born.

And all of this was provoked by Xiang Yazhi.

Tang Yue’s expression grew colder and colder.

"Xiao Yue, don’t be impulsive," Lian Tong stepped forward in her high heels, making a ’tap tap’ sound on the concrete. "No matter what she says, she is still Qingyang’s mother."

"You’re not welcome here." Tang Yue turned around, not bothering to look at Xiang Yazhi anymore. The only reason she had slapped her was that Xiang Yazhi had insulted her mother, but to cause Xiang Yazhi real harm—aside from how Lian Qingyang would feel being caught in the middle—giving Xiang Yazhi any leverage over her would simply not be worth it.

Bai Qing moved swiftly, grabbing Xiang Yazhi and tossing her outside before slamming the door shut.

"Cough, cough, cough." Xiang Yazhi was thrown to the ground, gasping for air that was finally within reach. A breeze swept past, and her back felt icy cold.

"Elder sister-in-law, you know best what really happened back then. Even if you tell my brother about today’s incident, do you think he’ll be angry with you or Xiao Yue?" Putting on her high heels, Lian Tong opened the door and approached, looking down at her from above condescendingly: "My brother is just soft-hearted. If I were him, I would’ve divorced you long ago."

"Let me tell you, Xiao Yue is under my protection, Lian Tong. If you dare to trouble her, I won’t be polite," Lian Tong threatened before turning around and walking back into the house.
