After Mo Xiaolin decided to leave, she went out of her way to find the two brothers of the Mo Family, Mo Xiaofeng and Mo Xiaoxian. Both were stunned when they heard their sister was leaving.
Ever since Mo Xiaolin came to them with a child in her womb, besides the time before the child turned three when she frantically searched for him in Jing City, she never again stepped out of Wangjiang County.
Sometimes, Mo Xiaofeng and his brother would wonder why Xiaolin never searched for that man, but fearing that it would sadden her, no one dared to speak of it, even less to ask.
"Xiaolin, we feel at ease with you and Xiao Yue going to Jing City, but what about your school..." Mo Xiaofeng was somewhat worried.
Xiaolin gave a bitter smile and said, "You don't know. I'm no longer a teacher."
"What happened?" Mo Xiaofeng frowned.
Mo Xiaoxian asked in a deep voice, "Did he come to bother you again?"
"He's actually quite nice," said Mo Xiaofeng. "He's single and has a daughter, and you're single with a son."
"I won't marry," declared Mo Xiaolin. "Brother, you know me. I've been waiting for Brother Jin. If Brother Jin doesn't come back, I'm not keen on remarrying."
"But he... who knows if he's alive or dead." Mo Xiaofeng had never even seen the father of Mo Siyu.
In their hearts, they were convinced that Brother Jin must have died.
Because Zheng Chunhong and Deng Yuhua had secretly seen Mo Xiaolin cry, but they pretended not to know, so as not to worry her.
When Mo Xiaolin spoke of waiting for Brother Jin, it was actually a kind of refusal.
Xiaolin was a music teacher, young and attractive, so she accompanied the teachers on a trip to Jin City. Nobody expected that when she returned from that trip, Xiaolin came back with a child, claiming to have married a husband.
This utterly panicked the two brothers, but Mo Xiaolin, pregnant and constantly crying, said she had gotten separated.
"If he's alive, I'll wait for him to find me. If he's dead, I'll support Siyu in getting married and having children. I'll help him raise the kids," Mo Xiaolin said with pursed lips, always staying in Wangjiang County because she and Brother Jin said she was from Wangjiang County.
But after waiting for more than twenty years, he was never found.
Mo Xiaofeng and his brother exchanged glances, understanding Mo Xiaolin's intentions, and said no more. When they heard she would leave in a few days, they insisted that Mo Xiaolin bring Tang Yue home for a meal.

When Tang Yue convinced Mo Xiaolin, she wished she could immediately call Mo Siyu, who was far away in Jing City. However, after thinking it over, Tang Yue felt it would be better to bring her back directly, to surprise Mo Siyu.
When Tang Yue called him, she intentionally didn't mention that she would be bringing Mo Xiaolin along.
Mo Siyu was very happy when he heard Tang Yue had visited Mo Xiaolin. They clung to the phone, talking non-stop. Lucky for them, the family wasn't short on money, otherwise, with the way Tang Yue held onto the phone unwillingly to hang up, they wouldn't have been able to pay the phone bill.
Tang Yue reluctantly ended the call, and Zhang Hualian came over with an apple, saying, "Xiao Yue, have some apple."
"Thank you, Mom." Tang Yue took the apple and started peeling it. After peeling it, she handed the first piece to Zhang Hualian and said, "Mom, you eat first."
"Alright, I'll listen to you." Zhang Hualian knew Tang Yue didn't have much vacation time left, and there was endless conversation between mother and daughter when they slept together at night.
Thinking of Mo Xiaolin going to Jing City, Tang Yue felt at ease. Before leaving Wangjiang County, she went to see the newly built house early the next morning. The house wasn't completely finished, but already took shape - row houses with a yard in between, providing both independence and neighborhood proximity.
She purposefully toured the inside, feeling delighted, thinking her parents had good taste. The house was even prettier than she imagined, and she wondered how Granny Tang's house was coming along.
Tang Yue thought of this, and then her mind went to the child of Tang Xian and Guo Li.
She would see them when she visited the factory later.
She'd buy some gifts to take along.
Tang Yue pondered and first headed to Mingyue Clothing Store. Even though the new storefront had yet to be chosen and decorated due to lack of time - Tang Mingli was busy with the new branch factory and do not have the time either - the plan was put on hold. Even with the old decor, there were still many customers buying clothes.
Gai Xiaoyue and Zhao Hong had been selling clothes in the store for quite some time. The money made daily was delivered to the factory, each sale was recorded, and as the price of the clothing was fixed, it was all about settling the accounts.
As Tang Yue was about to enter, someone bumped into her.
Tang Yue was startled. Bai Qing quickly separated the two and asked, "Who are you? Don't you watch where you're going?"
"Tang Yue, it's me, Luo Juan." Luo Juan looked at Tang Yue with excitement. After a few years, Tang Yue had become even more beautiful than when she had last seen her.
