Rebirth in 1986: Unforgettable Regrets novel Chapter 671

Chapter 671: Chapter 671: You (Second Update)

"Fair enough." Lian Qingqing nodded, she didn’t think much about it, after all, they were all Dad’s children, familiar faces were nothing strange.

After Lian Qingqing left, Xiang Yazhi looked at the photo from side to side but didn’t find anything familiar.

After Xiang Yazhi couldn’t figure anything out, her pounding heart finally calmed down.

"Lian Qingyang." Lian Qingqing called out as she knocked on the door.

"..."

"I know you’re in there, what’s this, when your sister returns, you treat me like this?" Lian Qingqing crossed her arms and spoke towards the door, she was on the third floor and wasn’t worried about being heard by the grandparents.

"Decided to come back have you?"

Lian Qingyang, just having finished his shower, wrapped a towel around his waist, his upper body bare, was drying his dripping hair, he leaned on the door frame and asked, "I thought you were planning to immigrate."

"Lian Qingyang, don’t get it wrong, I am your real sister." Unable to hold back, Lian Qingqing said, "The things from when we were children, I can only say it was youthful ignorance, do you really need to hold a grudge against me?"

Lian Qingyang curled his lips and said, "Alright alright, I won’t hold a grudge, my dear sister, what is it that you want me to do for you this time?"

He walked into the room while drying his wet hair, casually throwing the towel onto the sofa, he said, "Sister, I truly admire you, you even staked your own happiness to prevent our parents from divorcing."

"What about those who, for others, ignore their own parents?" Lian Qingqing hinted broadly, looking around the room which was tidy daily, mostly filled with gaming stuff and a corner for exercising, she sat down on the sofa, "Qingyang, we are real siblings, we shouldn’t always be at each other’s throats."

"Okay." Lian Qingyang nodded.

Lian Qingqing continued, "Qingyang, I’m back for about ten days, take me to Wangjiang County, I want to apologize to Xiao Yue in person."

"What are you planning?" Lian Qingyang instantly became defensive.

Lian Qingqing raised a sweet smile, lifted her hand to pat Lian Qingyang’s head, but found that Lian Qingyang was far away and on guard, her hand landed on his instead.

"Qingyang, you make me very sad like this," Lian Qingqing looked at him with a grievance, saying, "I sincerely want to apologize on Uncle’s behalf; after all, it was also Uncle’s fault."

"No need, Sister Xiao Yue doesn’t like your apologies." Lian Qingyang said so; he really couldn’t bring himself to like this sister, who was one thing to the face and another behind the back, it was indeed eye-opening for him.

Lian Qingqing stood up and said, "If you won’t tell me, I’ll ask Grandpa or Dad. I believe they would be happy to tell me."

"Wait a minute."

Lian Qingyang stopped her, suspiciously eyeing Lian Qingqing, unsure why she was so insistent on going to Wangjiang County to find Sister Xiao Yue, but, rather than letting her go alone, it’d be better to go together.

"I’m busy with company stuff these days, wait a few days, then I’ll take you to Wangjiang County."

"This isn’t a delay tactic, is it?" Lian Qingqing asked with a smiling face.

Lian Qingyang gave her a sidelong glance and said, "Do you think everyone is as scheming as you?"

After returning from the new house, Tang Yue bought quite a few things and went with Meng Siyu to visit Uncle Mo.

Uncle Mo lived in the county, making it convenient to visit.

Uncle Mo and his wife Deng Yuhua had not expected Meng Siyu and Tang Yue to come back, and warmly invited them to stay for a meal. They also called over Xiao Rui’s family with their child, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere which was very enjoyable.

"Si Yu, both uncles are really nice," Tang Yue said as they were leaving, unable to restrain herself. These two uncles were genuinely good from the bottom of their hearts.

The things she had brought were received, yet they had given her and Si Yu two large red envelopes in return, and also filled Meng Siyu’s hands with homegrown fruits and snacks.

Before, Meng Siyu had mentioned that when he was little, both uncles had supported their grandmother; otherwise, during those chaotic times, how could his grandmother have managed to live in the county with her son and still have such a good life.

"Yes, my big uncle and Uncle Mo are even closer to me than my real father," Meng Siyu said, raising the items in his hand. "Your favorite pickled ginger is very tender and delicious as made by Auntie Mo." 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"There are also delicious dried bayberries, sour and sweet," Tang Yue added. Auntie Mo was very skilled at drying homemade snacks. Apparently, seeing how much Tang Yue enjoyed them, she had packed a lot for her of each type.

The couple happily returned home. Zhang Hualian saw them coming back with big and small bags and couldn’t help saying that their aunt by marriage was overly generous.

Privately, Zhang Hualian couldn’t help but say to Tang Yue: "Xiao Yue, it’s good that Auntie Mo gave you so much stuff, but how can you accept it all? The pickled ginger and dried bayberries—you like to eat them, but Mom has also dried a lot of them."
