After the excitement died down, everyone finally settled back into their seats.
Yunyi’s photo had at last made its way back into Huo Jingrui’s hands.
When she saw her son carefully tuck the photo back into his jacket pocket, Jiang Jingya said, "Tomorrow morning, I’ll personally go to the market to buy groceries and have Auntie Zhang prepare a few of her signature dishes."
Then she added gloomily, "Ah, it’s a pity I have no talent for cooking. Otherwise, I would definitely make a few dishes myself to entertain."
She had just finished speaking when several voices spoke up in unison, "Mom, you really dare to say that! When it comes to cooking, you don’t just lack talent—it’s downright disastrous."
"Mom, what did you say? Is Yunyi coming over to our house?"
"Mom, Yunyi is in Beijing?"
Upon hearing their questions, Jiang Jingya first retorted to her daughter, "If you don’t speak, no one will think you’re mute."
After her retort, she then looked toward Huo Weiyu and Gao Ruyi. "Yes, that young lady is back in Beijing for some matters and will visit our home tomorrow evening. I haven’t had the chance to tell you yet."
Gao Ruyi finally reacted, "Jiayuan, did you also know that Yunyi is coming to our home?"
Huo Jiayuan smiled awkwardly. "I just found out as well. I was about to tell you all over dinner at the restaurant, but who would have thought you’d all rush back here?"
After hearing her sister-in-law’s explanation, Gao Ruyi turned to her mother-in-law. "Mom, look, since I now know about Yunyi’s visit tomorrow night, our whole family will come back too. You won’t object, will you?"
Jiang Jingya was amused by her second daughter-in-law’s cautious expression and said with a laugh, "If you want to come back, then come back. I’d be overjoyed; why would I be upset?"

This was Yi’er’s first visit, and he didn’t want her to be unhappy about anything. After all, his Third Sister-in-law sometimes truly failed to consider the circumstances. Even though he knew she had no chance against Yi’er and couldn’t bully her, he didn’t want her to spoil the atmosphere, especially since this was Yi’er’s first visit to their home as a guest.
