Yunyi paid no attention to the man’s clamor. It was better to let facts speak for themselves.
Gui Kairong clearly felt his sister was no longer struggling. He naturally trusted Yunyi, so he carried her over and placed her on the bench. "Thank you, Xiaochu."
Yunyi said, "Please, everyone move back. I need to open this comrade’s clothing to apply the needles."
The others in the room were cooperative and headed directly outside. Only the previous doctor remarked, "All this mystique. I have to see what you’re capable of."
After speaking, he grabbed his medical kit and headed towards the door.
Yunyi moved quickly. First, she inserted over a dozen needles into the woman’s head. Then, she unbuttoned the woman’s blouse, leaving only her thermal undershirt, and applied a few needles to her chest before finishing.
Afterward, Yunyi helped massage her limbs. Seeing the woman’s eyes move, Yunyi whispered, "Don’t be afraid. I am giving you acupuncture treatment, and soon the discomfort in your body will vanish."
Gui Kairong hadn’t left. He stood by the door. Hearing Yunyi’s words, he quickly stepped forward. "Sis, are you okay?"
The woman looked apologetic, her lips trembling as she spoke. "Kairong, I’m sorry. Did I embarrass you?"
Gui Kairong stepped forward and took her hand. "It’s okay. As long as you’re fine, nothing else matters. No one dares to laugh at us."
While they were having their moment of deep sibling affection, Yunyi’s hands continued to move without stopping. She only paused after completing the entire massage.
Only then did the woman turn to Yunyi. "Thank you. I feel much more comfortable now, without any of the usual discomfort that follows my spasms."
At her words, Gui Kairong suddenly looked up. "Xiaochu, can you treat my sister’s illness?"
Yunyi thought for a moment. "I’ll take her pulse in a bit."
Upon hearing this, Gui Kairong immediately made way. "Please, go ahead."
Yunyi considered this. That makes sense. Initially, she had thought of having them come over after the New Year, but Gui Kairong didn’t want to wait. "No, no, no! We’ll pack up in the next few days and head over then."
