Chapter 84

Sophia lashed out with a mean kick. Eamon’s grin froze as his back hit the doorframe. The hit made him fall down again.

Sophia tooked around, grabbed the restroom mop, and pushed it right into his mouth. “You wanna call the cops? Come on, those little scratches aren’t enough,” she sneered.

Eamon’s eyes got really wide with fear as he shook his head frantically, muffling his protests around the mop. The crowd instinctively stepped back a few feet, exchanging surprised glances.

This dinner was definitely going to be one to remember for all the wrong reasons. Violetta gagged, and quickly left the restroom disgusted, furiously typing on her phone.

Having vented her anger, Sophia threw the mop aside and walked out of the restroom. Eamon was laid out on the floor, but not one classmate moved to help him. None of them spoke up for Eamon; no one wanted to get involved in this.

They thought, ‘With Sophia like this, anyone who crosses her is signing their own death warrant!

Eamon’s helpless anger echoed from the restroom behind her: “I’m calling the cops to record my injuries. You’ll pay for this–just wait.”

Staring at himself in the mirror, he let out a deep scream. He thought, ‘Everything’s ruined. I spent a whole week getting ready to confess to Violetta

today, and now that damn Sophia has wrecked it all.’

Eamon yelled, “Sophia, you bitch. I swear I’ll make you pay.”

Caius looked at Sophia with worry and said, “Eamon, you’re the one who kept provoking her. She only fought back because you left her no choice.”

Eamon stormed out, screaming loudly, “Trying to butter her up, huh? Want to be her little lapdog? Listen, Caius. She attacked me, and I’m calling the cops right now.” His voice cracked with anger. “I’ll ruin her back.”

With that, he started frantically looking for his phone everywhere. Wherever he went, his classmates ran away like scared birds, trying to stay away. Caius watched nervously.

In contrast, Sophia was totally calm, even finding his frantic phone search funny. Smirking, she said, “I know how to handle the cops. Want some help?”

Eamon’s eyes were bloodshot with anger. “Just you wait. I’m calling the cops right now,” he yelled, spinning around, desperately looking for his phone- but he couldn’t find it anywhere.

While desperately looking for his phone, Eamon spat out, “Even if you say sorry then slap yourself a hundred times, I still won’t forgive you.”

Every time he opened his mouth, it smelled like a restroom. Sophia stepped back in disgust, her lips curling into a mocking smirk, as if to say he was way out of his league.

“Looks like your family spoils you. How dare you talk back to me?” Sophia sneered. “It’s just calling the cops. Stop dragging your feet.” With that, she pulled out her phone, ready to dial.

“Don’t!” Caius quickly interrupted.

Sophia shot him a quick glance and snapped, “Back off.”

Sophia smirked, “I just beat up Eamon–how could I not tell his brother? That would be very rude of me.” Then she immediately started dialing a number.

The call connected, and Jerome’s voice answered, “Hello? Who’s this?”

“Sophia Chandler.”

Before he could say anything, Sophia said, “I just beat up your little brother.”

Jerome paused. “I don’t have a younger brother,” he said flatly.

Sophia said, “It’s Eamon. He wants to call the cops and get his injuries written down. Go tell your dad.”

“Where are you?” Jerome asked right away.

Sophia gave the address of Brethmere Resort and hung up. The whole time, the call was on speakerphone, so everyone heard it, and the room went quiet as they watched what was happening.

Eamon stared at Sophia, who stayed calm and steady, and panic hit him hard. “Stop bluffing. I’m not falling for it,” he snapped, but his voice shook

Violetta quickly stepped in to calm things down and said, “Come on, to hang out like this again?”

Violetta added, “Eamon, you started all this. For my sake, can we just let it go?”

Eamon looked at how messy he was, feeling angry and unsure. ‘Why should I give in?‘ he thought. But with Violetta stepping in, he finally saw a way out. Even though he didn’t want to, he decided to take it.

“Violetta,” Sophia said with a smirk, “why don’t you do him a favor and call the cops?”

Violetta held her phone tightly, accidentally turning on the screen. Sophia pretended to be surprised and sneered, “Well, well, looks like Violetta is a Howard fan, huh?”

Violetta saw Sophia’s teasing smile and quickly shook her head, panicked. “No, I’m not,” she said.

Just then, Emily came in confidently with a group. Sophia couldn’t help but laugh. “I keep running into the homewrecker’s ugly kids today,” she sneered.

As Sophia spoke, Emily happened to glance over. When their eyes met, Emily felt a sudden guilt. No one else noticed, especially her friends.

A girl snapped, “Sophia, how dare you show your face here?”

Emily tugged on her arm and whispered, “Shut up.”

Behind Emily, Sophia saw a few familiar faces. Even Ingrid, who had cut ties with Yvonne, was there. Sophia thought with a smirk, ‘Perfect. The whole gang’s here.‘

“Emily, I didn’t know you were such a big Howard fan,” Sophia burst out laughing. “Is this a team event to gang up on me for revenge?”

To them, her look was full of challenge. Emily spat, “You’re so stupid, Sophia. I hope you rot in hell. I swear I’ll avenge Howard.”

Sophia immediately understood their plan. They wanted to fight there. She stretched her arms, and her smirk got sharper. Violetta, who had seen how tough Sophia was firsthand, thought to herself, ‘This isn’t going to end well.‘

Violetta said, ‘Sophia, you’re scaring everyone. There are still many classmates waiting for you, and if you break anything here, you’ll have to pay for it.
