Chapter 93
Sophia took it over with suspicion and glanced at the contents. It was as she had thought. Her hand trembled as she held the waiver.
Sophia had never seen such absurd behavior before. The waiver laid everything out clearly.
The main idea was to have Sophia take Dorian along for entertainment. During this time, any accidents that might happen to Dorian, including death from a heart attack, would not be Sophia’s responsibility. Dorian’s parents signed the document, and it took effect immediately.
Evander said earnestly, “Ms. Chandler, on behalf of my parents, I sincerely plead with you. If you have any requests, I’ll try to do them.”
Sophia thought, ‘I’m just kidding. Do they have to make it so formal?‘ But she wasn’t impulsive; no amount of Evander’s sweet talk would sway her.
Evander then produced a video recording of the Stone parents. In it, they reiterated the contents of the waiver.
Sophia fell silent.
Evander continued, “I know you’re busy, Ms. Chandler, but could you take Dorian out for entertainment now and then? It won’t take up too much of your time. I’ll pay you 3 million dollars a month.”
Sophia was speechless. “Are you serious?” she asked.
Evander nodded. “Of course. The waiver and my parents‘ video are right here.”
Sophia looked at Evander’s cold, stern face and thought, ‘With that expression, can it be that we’re discussing a big deal?‘
“Let me take a look first,” Sophia said, sending the waiver and recording to James.
About ten minutes later, James sent back a shocked emoji with a message: [Signed and recorded. This waiver is legally binding.]
Seeing the reply, Sophia still had no intention of agreeing.
Evander said, “Dorian was born with congenital heart disease. Everyone in our family, the nannies, even the bodyguards, treated him like a fragile doll. But he’s never been happy living this way. He doesn’t want this life. He-
“Hold on,” Sophia interrupted. “Mr. Stone, don’t waste your time. I’m heartless and without compassion. None of what you’re saying concerns me.”
Evander pressed his lips, and his cold face showed a dazed look. He hadn’t expected Sophia to be so unyielding. “Ms. Chandler, whatever you want, I’ll do my best to make it happen,” he said.
Sophia gave him a long, searching look before lowering her eyes in thought.
In the original storyline, Yvette took advantage of Evander, turning him into her supporter and reliable backer. Whether in previous lives or now, he never harmed her.
After Dorian died of a heart attack, Evander completely fell apart. He drowned his sorrows in alcohol and couldn’t sleep. In the end, he died in a car crash. Of all the men in Yvette’s life, he was the one who left the least impact.
Sophia pretended to hesitate with the decision, “Give me a few days to think it over,” she said before leaving.
After Sophia left, she forgot all about it. She pulled out her phone and clicked the crazy fans‘ group chat. She found the name had changed to Sophia
Anti–Fan Club.
Sophia couldn’t help but laugh when she saw the new group name. As she scrolled through the chat, she realized that the fans had been criticized online and were now venting their frustration on her.
[Spent the whole day trying to find Emily, but she never showed up. So damn frustrating!]

Chapter 93
Il guess Emily was a plant sent by Sophia to join our group. She deliberately lured us into that team–building event so we’d dine and dash, just to set us upl
[We got detained by the boss of Brethmere Resort, roasted all over the internet, and ended up paying for everything ourselves. It was Sophia’s trick.
Everyone in the group chat immediately echoed their agreement. And just like that, they thought Emily was a mole that Sophia had planted in the group.
Sophia thought, ‘No wonder Howard approves of these idiot fans.
So these crazy fans dumped all their anger and resentment on Sophia.
(Sophia is downright vicious. Not only did she get Howard hurt, but she also set us up. We must make her pay for this.]
[Of course! We’ll make her pay for this.]
[We need to teach her a lesson she’ll never forget, so she’ll regret it for the rest of her life.]
So they discussed as they plotted how to get back at Sophia.
A car crash seemed too difficult, so they decided to throw sulfuric acid at Sophia instead. The group debated back and forth, arguing over who should do it, until finally, someone stepped up.
Ingrid replied: [I can do it.]
Sophia checked the user’s nickname and looked up Ingrid’s profile. Sophia thought, ‘Some things are just inevitable.‘
Sophia tapped her fingers on the table. Her cold eyes darkened for a moment before lighting up with eager anticipation.
Sophia thought, ‘Alright, let’s see how brainless these idiots can get. I can’t wait to watch the show.‘
Howard’s leg kept breaking and healing, only to fracture again. Thanks to the antics of his crazy fans, he was once more trending across all major platforms. Howard became the laughingstock of both the entertainment industry and high society.
Howard had dropped his phone many times due to his gloomy mood. He couldn’t stand being around anyone and had even driven away several caregivers with his violent outbursts.
When Sophia returned to the hospital, she overheard Yvette speaking softly to Howard. “Howard, I know you don’t want to see me right now, but this isn’t my fault. You have to blame Sophia. She’s the one who changed everything for all of us.
“Sophia is the jinx. Don’t worry, Howard. You’ll always be my brother, no matter what happens. Even if the whole world turns its back on you, I never
will.”
-Sophia gave a slow, mocking clap. “How shameless, Yvette. You’d better remember those words.” She pulled out her phone, hit record, and demanded,
“Repeat every word you said.”
Yvette’s face darkened. She hadn’t expected Sophia to show up. Under Sophia’s smile, brimming with malice, Yvette guiltily averted her eyes.
But soon, Yvette lifted her chin again, looking at Sophia with superiority. She thought, ‘I’m the female lead. So what if Sophia has recalled her memories?
She must serve me.‘
Sophia was amused by Yvette’s sense of superiority. “Howard, you heard her just now. When you get kicked out of the family, remember what Yvette said. Go find her; she’ll help you.”
Yvette retorted, “Stop talking nonsense! Howard will get back on his feet and make a comeback.”
Sophia was sure Yvette had recalled memories from her first life. Sophia rolled her eyes, refusing to engage. She said mockingly, “Howard, why stay in this hospital room all day? Let me take you downstairs for some fresh air.”

Chapter 93
Yvette tried to stop her, but under Sophia’s cold glare, she retreated and pressed herself against the
wall.
With his eyes closed, Howard sat motionless in his wheelchair, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings as Sophia wheeled him into the elevator and downstairs.
Howard was often left black and blue from Sophia’s beatings. Unable to bear the humiliation, he wrapped his face in white bandages, leaving only his eyes, nose, and mouth exposed.
In the garden behind the inpatient building, Sophia wheeled Howard deeper in. The spot was just out of camera range, yet still clearly visible.
Sophia smirked, “Howard, what do you think your crazy fans are up to right now? I heard they’re making trouble for Emily. Do you think they’ve still got time to come after me?
“Honestly, I’m jealous of you. You’ve got parents who dote on you and hordes of devoted fans. Even now, looking like a complete wreck, your fans are still willing to do anything for you.
“You’ve done so many terrible things. You’ll get your punishment one day.” Sophia thought, ‘I’ll give you the punishment.’
Howard remained silent, his mind too clouded to grasp her meaning.
The next second, someone burst out from the nearby bushes, a bottle of liquid in hand, and hurled it straight at Sophia. The attacker shouted, “You bitch, Sophia!”
