Regret Came Too Late (Grace and Ethan) novel Chapter 461

When Liam arrived, he discovered that Andrea's body was covered in bruises, her clothes torn and ruined. She was crouched in the corner, crying. Her eyes were swollen. When she heard footsteps, she flinched.

Liam called out to her, "Andrea?"

Andrea's body trembled, and she raised her head in disbelief. Her eyes were filled with desperation. "Liam, please. Save me! I don't want to die! The child. Save the child."

Before even asking her what had happened, he frowned, picked her up, and put her in the car.

Andrea's mental state was declining. Every time she heard the slightest sound, she would tremble.

When they arrived at the hospital, she refused to go in with the doctor, her hands gripping the doorframe. Only then did Liam notice that almost all of her fingernails were broken. He could feel the pain just by looking at the state of them.

"Liam, please. Save me! You're the only one I can trust now!" Her eyes were full of terror as she covered her stomach with one hand, her face devoid of any color.

"The child! Our child is gone. I don't want to live anymore. Grace! It's all her fault! Liam, it's her fault!"

Liam held her hand and patiently comforted her, "Let the doctor examine you so that we can know what happened to you."

The corners of her lips twitched, and she tore open the remaining fabric that was on her body. There wasn't a single spot on her body that wasn't covered in bruises, and she was crying from tremendous pain.

"Can't you tell? You really can't, can you? I was raped by several men! Grace had the chance to save me, but she didn't! She said she didn't know me."

She shut her eyes with her two hands on her belly, her expression filled with malice.

"Forget it. I know you won't believe me, but you can ask the guard—the one at the graveyard where your father is buried."
