Rejected Luna Returns with Secret Twins (Lysandra) novel Chapter 205

I backed away in terror. It’s my wedding day! You can’t do this!

Wedding?Vivian laughed mockingly. You really think Tristan wants you? He hates you! He’s only being forced to marry you because of that damn prophecy. He was at the club with another woman last night, telling everyone he’d rather die than genuinely marry you.

She gestured to the men behind her. Ilemlock is waiting, and he’ll make sure you belong to him forever. And he especially likesvirgins.

The men grabbed my arms and started dragging me. I struggled desperately, but my wolfless physique was no match for adult male werewolves,

No! Please!I cried, fear and desperation making my voice hoarse.

Vivian approached, cruelly yanking my carefully styled hair. Don’t worry, I’ll tell everyone you ran away! Poor Tristan, abandoned by a wolfless

waste.

In the chaos, my wedding dress tore, one earring was ripped out, my earlobe bleeding. My makeup smeared with tears, my hair a disheveled

mess.

Just as they were about to drag me from the room, I bit one man’s arm with all my strength. When he loosened his grip in surprise, I wrenched free and bolted for the door.

I ran through the corridors, terror and determination fueling every step. I knew if they caught me, my life would be over. I’d rather die than be handed to that old man.

I stumbled into Isolde’s room, where Tristan’s mother was making final preparations for the wedding.

Help me, please!I gasped, trembling all over, tears and blood mingling on my face.

Isolde looked shocked at the sight of her disheveled daughterinlawtobe. Though she hadn’t been enthusiastic about the match, seeing my state, she immediately called for security.

Who dares create such chaos on my son’s wedding day?she asked coldly.

When I explained what had happened, Isolde’s expression turned serious. She might not have liked me, but she respected the prophecy and wouldn’t tolerate anyone interfering with the Moon Goddess’s will.

No one can prevent the prophecy’s fulfillment,Isolde said, not even my son.She turned to a servant. Take her to my private suite and fetch my seamstress. We have two hours to prepare.

In Isolde’s suite, seamstresses hurriedly prepared a new wedding dress for mesimple but elegant. A doctor treated my wounds, and makeup artists worked to conceal the marks of tears and injuries.

When everyone had left, Isolde approached me, studying me carefully. I don’t know why the Moon Goddess chose you, a wo!S girl, as my son’s mate. But I respect the prophecy and the Goddess’s will.

I love him,I said softly, admitting it aloud for the first time. I’ve always loved him, since I was very young.

Isolde seemed surprised but quickly regained her composure. Love is a luxury in our world, especially for the Alpha family. Don’t expect too much, or you’ll be disappointed.

I don’t expect anything in return,I replied. Being his wife, even if he doesn’t love me, is enough for me.

Isolde looked at me for a long time before nodding. Perhaps the Moon Goddess does know what she’s doing after all,

Despite everything, I managed to pull myself together for the wedding, my heart full of hope for a new life.

Chapter 205

During the ceremony, Tristan maintained a blank expression, his eyes filled with disgust, as if being forced to do something revolting

When he bit my neck to complete the marking, I felt not love but cold duty.

Even so, I was inwardly elatedat least I wouldn’t be given to Hemlock, at least I had married the man I loved, even if he didn’t love me

At the reception afterward, Tristan barely looked at me, drinking alone, clearly numbing himself with alcohol.

I noticed Vivian in the corner, her eyes filled with hatred, but with Isolde’s protection, she dared not make another move.

That night, I sat alone on the bed in our wedding chamber, wearing the silk nightgown prepared for our wedding night, waiting for a long time.

Tristan eventually returned to the room, drunk and stumbling. Seeing me, his eyes registered surprise, as if he’d forgotten we had just gotten married.

What are you doing here?he asked coldly, his voice slurred from alcohol.

It’s our wedding nightI answered softly.

Tristan laughed mockingly. Wedd:

That was just a farce. You think I could ever love someone like you?

His words cut like knives, but I didn’t flinch. I’d rather endure his humiliation than face the fate of being marked by Hemlock.

He approached me, reeking of alcohol. He roughly grabbed my arm, hard enough to leave bruises. Since we’re forced to be together, might as well make use of it,he said coldly.

He tore open my silk nightgown, the thin fabric easily ripping under his strength. I trembled, both from fear and anticipationthis was my first time, and with the man I loved, though far from the romantic scenario I had imagined.

When he pushed me down onto the bed, I didn’t resist. His kisses were neither gentle nor passionate, just plundering and possessive. His hands roamed my body without the patience of caress, as if merely completing a task.

I felt pain as he entered me, unprepared for his intrusion, but I bit my lip, refusing to make a sound. I didn’t want him to see my vulnerability, didn’t want to give him more reason to mock me.

The pain was almost unbearable. I gripped the sheets tightly, tears silently sliding down my cheeks.

Tristan didn’t seem to notice my pain, or if he did, he didn’t care. His movements became faster, harder, completely absorbed in his own sensations.

Despite everything, I felt a strange satisfactionnot physical, but psychological. I belonged to Tristan now, whether he wanted me or not. I had escaped Hemlock’s clutches and was united with the man I loved, even if that love existed only in my heart.

When it was over, Tristan immediately moved away from me, as if my touch would burn him. He turned his back to me and quickly fell asleep, leaving me alone with my pain and conflicted emotions.

I gently touched the mark on my neck, still throbbing with pain, but to me, it was a sweet pain. This mark meant I belonged to Tristan forever.

I believed I was the luckiest person because I had given myself to the man I loved. I loved him so much, willing to do anything for him, to devote my life to him.

Lysandra?

Tristan’s voice pulled me back to the present. I blinked, realizing I’d been lost in memories.
