Return of the Sword God-Rank Civil Servant novel Chapter 331

An unplanned assault on Russia was now underway.

That was fine.

Even though it wasn’t originally part of the plan, thanks to this, the entire strategy had become far more efficient.

After a bit of preparation, Su-ho returned to the Tumen River area.

Vrrrm—

He pulled out his mana bike from the subspace.

He changed his appearance using [Disguise].

The chosen appearance: a frog face.

There was no particular reason it had to be a frog—he simply thought of a frog, so a frog it was.

With preparations complete, Su-ho immediately twisted the throttle.

BWAAAHHH!!

Infused with Su-ho’s mana, the bike roared as it began its mad dash.

It sped past the now-deserted border checkpoint and headed toward the so-called Bridge of Friendship, the structure spanning the Tumen River.

Originally, that bridge had collapsed the moment the region fell.

However—

'Just as I thought.'

The bridge had been crudely patched up—just enough to make it crossable.

Clearly the Bratva’s handiwork.

Since they needed it for their own use.

Su-ho crossed the bridge in a single breath.

His target: the railway junction in Khasan.

According to Yuri, that was where their secrets were hidden.

Su-ho flooded his bike with mana and headed at maximum output straight toward Khasan.

The road to Khasan was quiet.

The Bratva had essentially taken over the area, and most of the surrounding monsters had already been cleared.

Which meant there were fewer monsters, and more Bratva.

Su-ho’s sudden appearance immediately drew their attention.

“A bike?”

“That’s a mana bike, isn’t it?”

“Who the hell is that bastard?”

One by one, Bratva members raised their heads.

Su-ho immediately began buffing himself.

[ Blessing is activated. ]

[ Holy Enchant is activated. ]

[ Mana Perception is activated. ]

[ Endurance is activated. ]

[ Enhancement is activated. ]

[ Eye of the Blacksmith is activated. ]

Skill effects burst forth.

At the same time, Su-ho summoned a long [Blood Sword] from his [Blood Armory] and gripped it.

Then, without hesitation, he charged toward the Khasan railway junction, slashing down every Bratva member who appeared in his path.

“Shit!”

“An intruder!”

“Some bastard’s attacking us!”

“What the hell is he?!”

A madman wearing a frog mask, riding a bike, swinging a sword.

Just the keywords alone sounded like pure nightmare fuel.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t just the keywords—his actions matched the nightmare perfectly.

After all, no matter how strong an ordinary gang might be, how could they possibly defeat the top-tier Player of all humanity—Su-ho, riding a bike no less?

'There’s an old saying: one cavalryman can take on dozens of infantry.'

That truth still held in the modern day.

Mobility was a devastating force multiplier.

Then it happened.

“Fuck it! Just shoot him!”

Unable to endure any longer, the Bratva pulled out their guns.

This was Russia.

A region occupied by the Red Mafia—firearms were as common as pebbles.

TATATATATA!!

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!

Bullets rained down.

Some fired wildly, others carefully aimed and squeezed their triggers.

But the result was the same.

[ Dragon Body is activated. ]

[ Iron Cannon Three is activated. ]

TINGTINGTINGTING!

Like bouncing off bulletproof glass, the rounds ricocheted off Su-ho’s body.

Su-ho possessed stats at the peak of humanity.

On top of that, he had multiple defensive buffs reinforcing his form. How could mere man-made firearms pierce his outer layer?

Unfazed by the stinging bullets, Su-ho charged forward.

He might not always repay kindness, but revenge—he always returned it twice over. He didn’t leave a single shooter alive.

[ Cloud Severance is activated. ]

SLASH! SHHRRIP!!

With each swing of the blade, flesh, muscle, and firearms were shredded in chunks.

Blood spurted like fountains, and death painted the ground.

At this point, even the Bratva began realizing the severity of the situation.

“Shit...!”

“How the hell are we supposed to stop that?!”

“Hey, bring out the RPG!”

“Are you serious?!”

“Fuck, he’s clearly a Player. If we don’t use an RPG, how the hell are we supposed to stop him?!”

The RPG.

Properly known as the RPG-7—a rocket launcher, often called a bazooka.

Even that was fairly common among these guys.

This was Russia, after all.

When several Bratva appeared carrying RPGs, Su-ho smirked and gestured provocatively.

“That’s right, assholes! Fucking shoot!!”

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The rocket launchers fired.

Their signature thunderous roars echoed as the rockets blazed toward Su-ho.

Su-ho didn’t dodge.

Instead, the moment they fired, he swung his sword.

SLASH!

[Cloud Severance] was unleashed the instant the rockets flew.

Amazingly, Su-ho’s blade—like a precision weapon—sliced the rockets mid-air.

The severed projectiles exploded on the spot.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions rocked the area.

Even the surrounding Bratva were caught in the chain reactions.

Su-ho intended to kill as many Bratva as possible.

That way, the incoming KGB forces would get a proper middle finger when they arrived later.

And so Su-ho swept through the Khasan area, slaughtering every Bratva member he could find.

Once he determined that no more enemies were coming, he turned toward his real target—the railway junction.

'Quiet.'

The junction itself was silent.

It was one of the Bratva’s bases—but more specifically, it was used as living quarters.

Su-ho continued forward, cutting down the occasional idiot who popped his head out, and made his way toward Yuri’s room.
