I watched Eleanor’s face twist with shock and humiliation, and my smile turned even colder.
This trial was only just beginning.
“Arrest her! This lunatic is spouting nonsense!” Eleanor finally snapped out of it, shrieking and pointing at me. “Security! Where are the security guards?!”
But not a single guard moved.
Because all eyes were drawn to the man slowly being pushed out from the side entrance.
Damian.
He sat in a wheelchair, face as white as a sheet, eyes empty—like a puppet with its strings cut.
Behind him, pushing the chair, was Mateo.
He wheeled Damian right to the center of the stage.
On the giant screen, Kathy’s diary pages vanished-
replaced by a DNA test report.
Probability of paternity: 0.01%.
Damian looked up, staring at the screen.
“No… that’s impossible…” he whispered, his body starting to shake violently.
He turned his head toward Eleanor, eyes full of panic and desperate pleading.
“Mom, tell them. Tell them it’s not true. I’m your son. I’m his son. I’m the Constantine heir. I am the rightful heir!”
“Damian! My son!” Eleanor stumbled onto the stage and threw her arms around him.
“Don’t listen to her! That little whore is lying to you! She’s trying to turn you against me! She wants to destroy us!”
I watched the scene with icy detachment, then softly dropped a name:
“Jean Molière.”

Chapter 110
The second she heard it, Eleanor’s body jerked like she’d been struck,
Damian stared at her. “Mom… who is Molière?”
“I don’t know!” Eleanor screamed. “Damian, believe me! Why would I ever lie to you?!”

Before she could say more, a middle–aged man walked up from backstage, escorted by two men in black.
Someone in the audience gasped under their breath, “My God… I remember him. That’s Jean Molière, isn’t it?”
Everyone’s gaze moved from his face…
to Damian’s.
Then came the wave of sharp inhales.
That face.
The straight nose, the thin, cold lips, the faintly brooding eyes-
Damian looked exactly like him.
“Eleanor, long time no see,” Molière said, eyes narrowing. “Look at him. Our son is the spitting image of me when I was young, isn’t he?”
Eleanor stared at him, her jaw hanging open, her whole body shaking. “Molière… You… why are you here?”
“Eleanor, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten,” he said, voice dripping with bitter laughter. “You swore you loved me. You seduced me. After you got pregnant with my child, you begged me to help you set Frank up.”
“You drugged him, made him dependent on your body. I’ll give you this–you were wild enough in bed. You knew exactly how to twist a man’s mind.”
“But then you ‘forgot‘ our little deal. You promised me once our son inherited the Constantine empire, we’d finally own everything together.”
“And what did I get in return?” Molière’s voice suddenly rose, echoing through the opera house. “Hitmen. An ‘accident‘ in East Africa. You thought I’d die out there, didn’t you?”
“You thought you’d buried me. But I survived. I stayed alive for one reason–to watch you fall, Eleanor. To watch you choke on everything you stole.”

“Everything built on lies,” he spat, “you’ll pay back–with interest.”
After that, the crowd parted again.
Lucien stepped onto the stage.
Beside him walked a woman.
She wore a long black dress and a wide–brimmed hat.
Half her face was hidden behind a silver mask.
“Eleanor Constantine.”
Her voice came through the mask–cool, with a faint, rasping edge.
She walked to the center of the stage and stopped, staring straight at Eleanor.
“After all these years, your face is still just as disgusting,” she said.
“Who are you?!” Eleanor screamed.

“Who am I?” The masked woman let out a soft laugh. “Eleanor, why don’t you tell everyone what the name of the drug was… the one you used on Frank?”
Eleanor’s head snapped up.
“The ‘Dust of Oblivion,” the woman continued, her voice cutting through the hall. “A drug that erases a person’s most precious memories–while magnifying their most primal desires.”
She took a step closer with every word, her voice echoing under the opera house dome.
“You wiped out Frank’s memories of years of love with Kathy. You erased his excitement about Lucien’s future. You left him with only one thing–his obsession with your body, and all those filthy, depraved tricks you taught him.”
“You took a gentle, refined gentleman…”
“and turned him into an animal that only knew how to rut.”
“You destroyed him, just to satisfy your own greed.”
“And you destroyed Kathy,” the woman’s voice suddenly rose, shaking with fury.
“Kathy went to find Frank that day, full of joy, ready to celebrate the fact she was pregnant with a baby girl

“But what did she see instead?”
“She walked into a studio full of their wedding photos–only to see your belly, riding her husband, while he knelt between your legs like a dog in h
woman’s name.”
“Because of that shock, Kathy lost her baby girl. Forever.”
