She looked at Anastasia and praised her with genuine sincerity, "Ms. Sterling, you are truly worthy of being Mr. Austin Sr.'s student. To have such skill at such a young age."
Anastasia smiled. "I'm not actually his student. Mr. Austin Sr. hasn't agreed to take me on yet."
"How could Mr. Austin Sr. not want such a talented student? If word got out, people would be lining up to claim you!"
After a bit of small talk, Anastasia began to check on the matriarch's condition.
Since her initial method had worked, it confirmed her theory was correct. The rest would be simple.
She spent the afternoon administering acupuncture and performing massages, and by the end, feeling had finally returned to the old woman's legs.
The Wests were overjoyed. "It's really working?! Ms. Sterling, you're amazing!"
Anastasia smiled and wrote out a prescription. "She's not fully recovered yet. The feeling is temporary for now, but if you follow this prescription, she should be completely back to normal within a week, barring any complications."
The Wests were immensely grateful. Nelson, beaming, apologized once again for his previous behavior and tried to offer her a substantial fee.
But Anastasia shook her head and declined. "That's not necessary. The standard fee will be fine."
Her husband had more money than he knew what to do with; she wasn't short on cash and had no intention of profiting from this.
Shirley, standing to the side, felt an odd sense of pride and couldn't help but chime in, "See, I told you! Queena was lying!"
Queena?
Anastasia raised an eyebrow. "What did she say?"
