Only then did Harrison's expression soften. He stroked her hair. "Are you full?"
"No, I'm still starving!" Hearing the signal for reconciliation, Anastasia immediately collapsed into his arms. "I was so worried waiting for you that I didn't even eat!"
Harrison gently pinched her cheek. "Serves you right."
He led her downstairs.
The old madam, who had kept dinner waiting, saw them return to their usual affectionate state. "You must be hungry. We saved dinner for you. Go on and eat!"
She felt no guilt for helping Anastasia with her scheme and even began to lecture Harrison. "Can't you be a little more lenient with her? Making Ana trick you into coming home... honestly, you're not acting like a husband at all!"
She even shot him a disapproving look.
Harrison was speechless.
Anastasia suppressed a laugh and pleaded with the old madam, "Grandma, he's being lenient now. Please don't scold him anymore."
The old madam wasn't truly angry. Seeing Anastasia rush to Harrison's defense made her smile. She teased her grandson, "Well, now that Harrison has someone to protect him, I suppose I can't say much more. Alright, go eat before you starve."
Anastasia quickly pulled Harrison into the dining room.
They had a sweet dinner together, and after a good night's sleep, they were as close as ever the next morning.
With things settled at home, Anastasia headed to the Austin family's residence.
Bruno beamed the moment he saw her, his face filled with unconcealable pride. "I've already heard about the exam results. I knew it. With your skills, getting into the Global Harmony Medical Institute was a certainty."
