Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 278

“Miss Mina Holloway, Crystal Waters doesn’t belong to your family anymore, does it? Aren’t you afraid this will blow up in your face?” Alicia slammed her fork down on the table, coming to Tyrone’s defense.

Mina froze, her expression shifting. How did Alicia know about that?

Back when the Holloways handed Crystal Waters over to Evercrest Group, they’d made a deal: for the sake of the Holloway family’s reputation, news of the transfer would stay under wraps for the time being.

“Alicia, you have no idea what you’re talking about,” Mina said through gritted teeth, clinging to her denial.

“Is it nonsense? If anyone knows the truth, shouldn’t it be the Holloway family?” A deep male voice sounded from the doorway as a man strode in with Winnie at his side.

Winnie shot Alicia a pointed look. “That’s the CEO of Evercrest Group!”

Alicia’s eyes widened in surprise. The man glanced at Tyrone, and for a moment looked like he might offer a polite greeting, but Tyrone’s cold, unreadable face made him think better of it. Instead, he quickly spoke up. “Crystal Waters has been restructured. Why are these people still allowed to cause a scene and disturb our guests? Don’t you know Mr. Lynch is my honored guest?”

The man turned and barked orders at the club manager, a hint of panic in his voice.

The manager, visibly rattled, nodded repeatedly. “I’ll have them leave right away.”

Mina’s face turned ashen when she saw the man. “Mr. Lockwood… What are you doing here? You only know that Tyrone is about to lose his position as president of Lynch Corporation. Once he’s cast out of the Lynch family, he’ll be a nobody.”

She clenched her jaw, unable to believe that Evercrest Group’s CEO was here today.

Currently, Kenney Lockwood was the public face of Evercrest Group—a man with no impressive family pedigree, but formidable in his own right. Both the Holloways and the Lawsons had tried for years to uncover who really controlled Evercrest Group, but they’d always hit a wall. And as for Shawn Lockwood, his lips were sealed; no matter how people tried to pry, he never gave up the identity of the true power behind the company.

“Miss Holloway, I’m giving you a chance to leave with some dignity. Don’t make me call security,” Shawn Lockwood warned icily.

Mina’s expression grew even uglier. She didn’t dare step outside. If her family found out she’d been thrown out of Crystal Waters—and worse, that they were now banned—she’d be the one to blame.

Crystal Waters was their key to networking. Without access, they’d lose their edge for good.

“Show her out. If she refuses to leave, call the police,” Shawn ordered, signaling security to escort her out.

Mina shot Jade a desperate look. “Jade, Nicole, you’re from the White family—you must be able to say something—”

Jade hadn’t expected Shawn Lockwood to come down so hard either. She frowned. “Mr. Lockwood, Evercrest Group might be an up-and-coming company, and sure, you’ve ridden the wave these past few years. But making enemies now isn’t wise, don’t you think?”
