Chapter 67
Hearing this, Ryan and the others had a grim expression.
“We haven’t sold out yet,” Xena said with a forced smile. “We’ll stay behind a bit longer.”
The director nodded and left with everyone.
As the rest of the group left, Ryan and the others felt dejected. They couldn’t even muster up the strength to sell potatoes.
Besides, the place where Janie and the others were quite remote. There weren’t many people around, so their business was poor.
Ryan and Zion felt both frustrated and embarrassed.
Since they hadn’t sold out their potatoes, they needed to start the live streaming again.
[Why was the live stream turned off just now? What’s going on? Was the person rescued?]
[Why is it just Ryan and the others? Where is Janie and Jackson?]
Xena was staring in a daze as she thought about Eason and Janie.
On the other hand, Emily was slacking off and did nothing as well.
This made Ryan and Zion even more upset.
Zion couldn’t help but say, “Emily, you’ve done nothing but stand around. If you’re not going to help, just go home already!”
Emily was upset by his words.
While she was slacking off, Xena was too. Thus, she couldn’t understand why they were only scolding her.
Still, she said pitifully, “I also want to help, but I really can’t…”
“Why are you here if you can’t help with anything? Just go back. I don’t want to see you,” Zion said bluntly.
He couldn’t understand why Emily was clinging to them. Did they look like fools?
Emily’s face turned pale when she heard his words. Then, she sobbed and said, “Zion, why do you have to speak like this? If you really don’t like me, I’ll just leave.”
As she spoke, she turned around and left.
Ryan and Zion didn’t stop her since they wished she could leave them alone.
Emily shook her head with tears. “Xena, your brothers don’t seem to like me, so I’ll be off. Good luck.”
Hearing her words, Xena snapped out of her thoughts and said hurriedly, “Don’t take it to heart, Emily. They didn’t mean it that way. They are just in a bad mood. Please stay.”
At that moment, Ryan and Zion was speechless and felt even more irritated.
They couldn’t understand why Xena had to oppose them.
“Really?” Emily asked hesitantly.
“No!” Zion said immediately.

Chapter 67
Zion’s blatant disregard made Xena feel angry. Then, she complained, “Seriously, Zion? Emily is just here to keep me company. I know you misunderstand her, but…”
Ryan and Zion couldn’t listen to her words anymore.
Amidst the irritability, they also felt sad.
After all, did Xena really not know how they felt today? Why did she always had to side with others?
Their greatest endurance was saying nothing.
Seeing that they didn’t respond, Emily looked at Xena with doubt, which made the latter even more frustrated and disappointed. Then, she pulled Emily toward her and said, “Let’s go, Emily. Since they don’t welcome us, we might as well leave.”
At that moment, Zion subconsciously wanted to stop her, but Ryan held him back.
“They’re not doing anything anyway. If they want to leave, let them leave. It’s not like they will be gone forever,” said Ryan. Recalling what Janie said earlier, Ryan stated, “She’s not a child anymore. We can’t keep spoiling her like we used to. Maybe it’s time for her to think about what she did wrong.”
[Damn, Xena. Why are you hurting your brothers? Don’t they love you enough?]
[Xena just wants to help Emily. Girls should help girls. Besides, Zion’s attitude was terrible!]
[Terrible? Aren’t they just telling the truth? Do you think Emily is the only precious one? Plus, this is not how girls help each other. Don’t be ridiculous.]
[Ryan and Zion have finally come to their senses. They really can’t spoil Xena all the time.]
Zion saw that the staff was still following the girls, so there wouldn’t be any danger. Plus, he agreed to what Ryan,
Xena had indeed been too bratty lately, and it was hurting them.
Plus, he was also getting tired from dealing with this and decided to let her be.
