Chapter 69
(60)
At that moment, Jackson noticed neither Zion nor Ryan had returned with Xena. Then, he asked, “Where is Zion and Ryan?”
“Do you miss them, Jackson?” David had become bold enough to joke with him.
Jackson was so disgusted that he couldn’t even swallow the food in his mouth.
Then, he glared viciously at David.
Realizing he had crossed the line, David scratched his head and said, “Just kidding. I don’t know.”
Janie was focused on eating potatoes and didn’t join in the conversation.
One of the reasons was that she wasn’t interested in Zion, Ryan, or Xena.
The other reason was because Jackson would be jealous.
Jackson pursed his lips and guessed, “Could they still be selling potatoes?”
David thought for a moment and said, “But Xena and the others have already returned.”
“Could they have gotten lost? Well, they’re foolish.” Jackson let his imagination ran wild.
As soon as his words fell, he saw Zion and Ryan appeared by the door.
At that moment, Jackson was at a loss for words.
Zion and Ryan had first smelled the aroma before seeing Jackson and the others.
Then, they became even hungrier.
The place where Janie and Jackson were not particularly crowded. After Xena and Emily left, Zion and Ryan decided to try another place. Following Janie and Jackson’s experience. their potato sales were doing much better without Emily and Xena interrupting them.
After selling most of their potatoes and having no way to contact Xena, they decided to return on their own.
Now, they instinctively searched for her.
[Miss them? Thanks David for giving me a ship!]
[Lost? Jackson is so funny. I love him!]
[When Jackson said they were lost, they appeared. Is this some kind of magic?]
“Is Xena back?” asked Ryan.
David knew Jackson would ignore them, so he answered instead. “Yes, she’s back. She is cooking with Jason and the others.”
Hearing his words, Ryan and Zion both felt relieved.
They were tired and hungry, so they didn’t think much and quickly started preparing their food.
All this time, Xena never came out to meet them.
They couldn’t help but feel disheartened.

Chapter 69
Ryan couldn’t help but glance at Janie, but Zion pulled him away.
“Ryan, what are we going to eat?”
Zion regretted coming to this show. After all, all he did here was suffer. Plus, Xena even hurt his feelings.
It was completely different from what he originally thought.
Ryan didn’t know how to cook, so he said, “Let’s just cook some noodles.”
On the other hand, Xena and Emily had already done making their food and brought it out.
“Xena, do you want to invite your brothers to eat together?” Emily suggested.
“No,” Xena replied with a grim expression.
After all, why should she give in when Ryan and Zion didn’t come to her first?

Hearing her words, Emily rolled her eyes inwardly, feeling that Xena was indeed spoiled. If she had brothers like Ryan and Zion, she would treat them well.
‘How different fates we have,‘ thought Emily.
“Don’t be mad at them, Xena. They still love you,” Jason interjected.
At the same time, Molly just focused on eating since she was both tired and hungry.
[Xena is really strange. She has quite a temper when she can’t even do simple tasks.]
[How can you say that? Xena is talented, okay? Besides, even if Xena did something wrong, Ryan and Zion also have their wrongdoings. Don’t be so sexist.]
[I really hate it when you escalate things for no reason.]
Jackson’s sympathy for Ryan and Zion was almost greater than his dislike for them.
Of course, he still felt that they deserved it.
After some time, Ryan and Zion brought out their plain noodles.
When they saw that Xena was still being stubborn, they were annoyed.
Thus, they decided not to take the initiative to talk to her.
Then, the duo walked toward Janie and Jackson.
Looking at them, Jackson frowned.
Ryan pursed his lips and asked, “Can we eat with you?”
Hearing his words, Jackson almost cursed aloud.
“Certainly not,” said Jackson.
Then, Ryan looked at Janie and asked, “Janie?”
Janie glanced up at him and said, “No.”
