Chapter 74
It sounded like Janie and Spencer were intimate friends. Or maybe more than just friends.
However, Janic didn’t realize it at all.
Jackson was upset about this. He didn’t reply and remained silent the rest of the way.
As the car stopped, Noah, who had been waiting outside to welcome them, had already opened the car door
He smiled and bowed, “Welcome, Miss Janie.”
Looking at Jackson next to Janic, he stopped bowing and said, “Oh, Mr. Moore, you’re here too?
Jackson didn’t want to come. Feeling Noah’s attitude, he was even more unhappy.
This house was located in the suburbs. One could enjoy fresh air and silence here.
Janie and Jackson walked in the garden.
The house had never been lived in, but it was clearly well furnished.
Every corner was in Janie’s favorite style.
Janie walked around with a smile, while Jackson snorted and thought, ‘What a tricky man!”
Jackson said, “Janie, let’s go in.”
Janie nodded.
Inside, everything was arranged just the way Janie liked it.
Jackson wanted to be picky but didn’t know what to say.
‘Coincidence. It must be a coincidence, of course.‘ Jackson thought.
Jackson looked at Noah and asked, “Where’s my room?”
Noah replied, “Mr. Moore, let me show you the way.”
Jackson provoked, “Poor Spencer! Is he broke? Why didn’t he hire a few more people? You’re the only one?
“I bet he doesn’t care about Janie at all.”
The calm Noah couldn’t keep calm any more. His machine–like expression changed. Noah immediately explained to Janie, “Of course not Miss Janie. You’re the most important person to Mr. Alvarez.”
Jackson was so angry and he glared at Noah.
Noah ignored Jackson’s behavior and looked at Janie with a sincere expression, “Mr. Alvarez thought you might not like to have too many people around you and Mr. Moore can cook, so he didn’t send a lot of people here but me.”
Jackson felt something wrong but didn’t know why. He doubted, ‘Sounds strange. Is that a sarcasm on me?‘
Janie nodded with a smile, “I know.”

Chapter 74
Noah became sober again, looked at Jackson, and said, “Mr. Moore, please follow me. I’ll show you your room.”
Janie nodded, “Go ahead, I’ll just look around.”
Jackson walked ahead angrily, while Noah followed without a word.
Noah took a deep breath and thought, ‘Janie treat Jackson as her family. I can’t be rude to him
Janie walked into the courtyard. Suddenly, as if sensing something, she turned around.
Someone was there, hidden by the flowers.
Janie walked towards slowly.
A man stood there, wearing a warm and gentle smile.
Janie smiled with surprise and ran to him.
Spencer walked towards Janie without hesitation and reached out to hold her in arms. He missed Janie so much.
Out of the overwhelming affection, he put one hand around Janie’s slender waist and stroked her hair with the other.
Incredible! Just a hug could make one’s heart flutter like this.
Janie realized they were getting too close and released her grip on him.
Although Spencer wanted to hug her for longer, he didn’t do anything.
Janie asked, “Ahem. Why didn’t you tell me you’ll be here? What a surprise!”
Spencer looked at Janie with affection and said, “I’m passing by. I just got here and it was too rush to let you know.”
Actually, Spencer wanted to say it was a surprise and he missed Janie a lot.
However, these words seemed too much, so he swallowed back what he was going to say.
Spencer’s ears gradually turned red.
Janie understood what he meant and felt a bit shy too.
Both of them, usually calm, suddenly seemed to go back to their teenager time when facing each other.
Janie and Jackson had not met for three months. Janie was in such a surprise and forget to check if Spencer was alright.
