Chapter 103
Nivera stayed in the bathroom for what felt like forevera
The scalding water poured over her skin as she leaned against the tiled wall, hoping it would somehow wash away the heat, the confusion, and the soreness lingering from the night before.
She kept her eyes closed not because of the steams, but because the image of Alejandro wouldn’t leave her head. His voice, his hands, his body–very touch had carved itself into her memory.
By the time she finally stepped out, her fingers were pruned and her limbs ached from standing too long, but at least the soreness between her thighs had dulled
“There’s no way he’s still here,” she murmured as she wrapped a towel around herself. Not with how long she took
Still, a strange anxiety crawled under her skin as she paused at the bathroom door, took a deep breath, and stepped out, only to freeze in her spot ass sharp gasp escaped her lips.
Alejandro was still there, sitting on her damn soda like he owned the place. His hair was damp, swept back in a way that looked infuriatingly perfect, and he was dressed in one of his sharp, tailored suits.
The fabric clung to him like a second skin, and he was casually flipping through his phone like her room was just another extension of his own.
His eyes met hers, slowly lifting from the screen, and that infuriating smirk curved his lips.
“Trying to hide is pointless, Cabezota,” he said coolly, his voice deep and unmistakably smug.
“I wasn’t hiding,” she lied instantly, clutching her towel tighter, her face heating. The lie was weak, even to her own ears.
His brow arched, a knowing smirk tugging at his Eps. “Sure you weren’t”
“I wasn’t,” she snapped again, but this time she didn’t wait for him to counter
She stormed out of him and into her closet, slamming the door behind her. As she began rifling through her clothes, she heard his voice again, lazy and teasing
“Don’t take too long in there, or I won’t hesitate to drag you out.”
Her breath hitched as she cursed, muttering insults in every language she knew. The audacity.
“Arrogant bastard!” she ended it as she pulled on a soft white blouse and tailored jeans, ignoring how her fingers trembled slightly.
She then proceeded to dry her hair.
When she finally stepped out, her heart clenched slightly–not with fear, but disappointment. He was gone.
She should’ve been relieved. Any sane person would be, but Alejandro never left without reason. This wasn’t him letting her go. This was him playing a long game, waiting her out: she could feel it
Sighing, Nivera grabbed her phone and made her way downstairs, the silence of the mansion swallowing her whole.
When she reached the dining room, the tension returned in full force.
As expected, he was there, sitting at the head of the table, scrolling on his phone like the world around him didn’t exist.
He had taken off his suit jacket, and he hadn’t bothered to button the top of his shirt. Fuck, he looked good, and if he ever decided to quit being a businessman, the modeling world would love to have him,

Chapter 103
He didn’t look up when she entered, and she stared at
seat beside him her usual spot.
She wanted to sit anywhere else, just not there. Not she also knew him. If she dared to defy the unspoken rules
So she sat quietly.
A maid served breakfast–fresh croissants, scrambled eggs, fruit, and coffee–bot Niera could barely touch her load.
Her stomach twisted with nerves. The memory of his hands on her body was still too fresh. She could feel the phantom weight of him even now
Meanwhile, Alejandro ate with the same nonchalance he gave to a business meeting. He cot through his food with fary precision, barely glancing up from
his phone.
To him, this was just another day. Another woman conquered… And she was just another name.
The thought made her stomach twist into a knot as bile rose to her throat. He wasn’t even fared.
Nivera’s eyes stung, but she forced herself to remain still.
added to his Est.
His phone clicked against the table as he suddenly set it down. She glanced up, and his gaze was already on her
“What?” she snapped, hating how defensive she sounded.
“You’re not eating,” he said plainly. Then, after a beat, his lips twitched, “What, last night killed your appetite?”
She froze as her cheeks flushed instantly. Danth him for making her flustered even when she was hurt. “Don’t”
“Don’t what?” His tone was light, amused. “Talk about how you were practically begging-”
“Alejandro!” she hissed, her face turning, crimson. “Stop it.”
“Stop‘ wasn’t a word I remember hearing last night,” he said with a wicked smuk, leaning in closer
She opened her mouth, too stunned to form words. Her body was hot with embarrassment–and anger. Was this a game to him?
“You’re unbelievable,” she uttered, shoving her plate away. “Tell me something, are you like this with the other women?” She blurted out.
“What?”
“I’m not different from the other women you’ve slept with, am 17′′
The change was immediate
Whatever glint had been dancing in his eyes vanished. His expression hardened, his body going unnaturally still,
Alejandro’s voice dropped, controlled and deadly. “You think that’s what this is?”
She blinked, caught off guard by the venom in his tone.
“You really believe I just… go around bringing women here? Fucking them? Cuddling with them after Cleaning them up myself?”
“I didn’t mean- she began, but he cut her off.
“I’ve had three women in my bed before you. Three. One in high school, one in college, and one for convenience after that. No names. No feelings. Just need, in fact, you met the one from college, he pointed out.
She opened her mouth, but nothing came out.
He wasn’t done.
Chapter 103
“You are the first woman- apart from my mother to sleep under this root. The first to eat at this take. That of many things.“
Nivera’s lips parted. She didn’t know what to say.
He exhaled sharply, gare stocked on her. “So next time you want to bump yourself wi
The rest, think twice”
She swallowed hard, her mind spinning. “………. I didn’t know”
“You didn’t ask You belved the rumours were true.”
She didn’t know if it was her, but he seemed to be disappointed as he said that, like something in him had expected something better from her, and it stung.
They sat in silence for a moment, until his gaze sharpened again.
“Speaking of histories.. Tell me about Damon.”
Nivera invmediately stiffened. “Alejandro-”
