Secret Wife Real Billionaire (by Ela) novel Chapter 292

Sarah looked around. Marvin was settled on the sofa with a steaming cup of tea in front of him. He seemed to be getting quite the treatment here.

She glanced at him once and immediately looked away. She thanked the security guard and waved Marvin over.

“Let's go."

But Marvin didn't budge. He just sat there and asked, "Who are you to me? My elders said that I have a bad brain, so I shouldn't just go with anyone."

He put up a stubborn front, making it clear that he wasn't leaving with Sarah until she explained herself.

Needless to say, she was dumbfounded.

This man...Was he really so shameless that he himself would claim that his brain was faulty? Here, of all places?

The security guard hesitated and gave Sarah a wary look.

By all rights, Marvin appeared to be a brilliant and successful person, but surely, no normal person would declare that they had mental problems outright. Moreover, no person in their right mind would voluntarily stay in the same place for an entire day.

What if he was in the spectrum? Perhaps his genius was a part of his autism or something.

The security's imagination was running wild with possibilities.

“Excuse me, miss. What is your relationship with Mr. Hill? If he doesn't recognize you, I'm afraid I can't let you take him."

Sarah’s jaw dropped in disbelief.

Someone was actually buying the drivel Marvin was spewing?

Meanwhile, the esteemed Marvin himself sat back leisurely, waiting for Sarah to answer the guard.

“I am his sister," she finally said, a wry look on her face.

That should be enough to allow him to leave with her, right?

“You are not my sister," Marvin promptly said and shook his head.

He was calling her a liar!

Marvin felt giddy just remembering it.

“I'll call Vance and have him pick you up," Sarah said as she led him toward the campus' main gate.

“Vance would never listen to you without my permission," Marvin pointed out nonchalantly.

“Are you doing this on purpose? Your brain is fine, isn't it?" Sarah turned fully to glare at him, her hands on her waist. "What is it, exactly, that you want?"

Marvin looked panicked when he heard that, but he was back to his cold self in the next second. As long as he didn't admit to anything, she would have no proof to back up her suspicions. Marvin looked her dead in the eye and went straight to the point. "I want to stay by your side. Don't you know that already?"

It was nearly eleven o'clock.

Students from the street dance group exited the student activity center just in time to hear his words. They let out a series of oohs and ahhs and proceeded to tease the "couple".

“Oh, I see!" a male student shouted excitedly. "Miss, this handsome fellow likes you! It's so obvious!"

The female students giggled behind him.
