Chapter Sixty
"You very well know it's today." He angrily grits his teeth and looks down, trying to control his anger.
Mushk’s happy mood went down from there, which didn't go unnoticed by Irtaza, his anger was increasing.
There was no need of his father to ask about the case just after their wedding.
He was in his study with Yasmin and his father, with Hussain trying to defend himself.
"I just asked... " Hussain was trying to clear himself when Irtaza interrupted him.
"I know you were asking, but didn't you realize how your one question spoiled her mood since morning? You could've asked me later but no.. " Irtaza heaves up and down, breathing heavily.
"Just see mom, he never wants my happiness. He was the reason why I lost Mushk before and now that I have got her after this much of trouble, then look at his behavior right now!" Irtaza complains to his mother, disappointed at his father.
"I had no such intentions Irtaza, you're misunderstanding me." Hussain helplessly tries to defend himself.
Hussain guiltily looks down, reminiscing the days when his own sister betrayed him, just because he didn't let her marry a criminal and to this day the truth is hidden from Farzana, that the man she liked was a criminal and was only with her for her property and money.
"Enough Irtaza, he is your father. For how many more days will you not apologize to your father, it’s been 2 years!" Yasmin tiredly asks him.
"What do you think mom? That I didn’t forgive him? How can I not? He is my father, but I can never forget the day he snatched my love from me." Irtaza whispers to her mother.
