Sold To the Grizzly Don (Alcee and Bruno) novel Chapter 154

Chapter 154

I won’t deny it,he knew no shame. I’m hard as a rock from nothing more than a sneak peek when I took the towel from you but what kind of partner would I be if I took advantage. I can control my baser urges for a night or two, Alcee.

What if I can’t?she rolled over onto her belly with a grunt annoyed he was so controlled when she could already feel her body getting excited at the prospect of his hands on her.

You’ll be asleep in ten minutes.

Aren’t you tired?she questioned as she listened to the sound of him rubbing his oilcovered hands together while he sat next to her on the bed.

Exhausted but this is a result of my own dumb ass actions.

Not all of it was. Today was emotional and sending Raniero away was difficult for you.She gave a grunt as his hands landed on her back with a good amount of pressure. His thumbs immediately dug into the soft spots under her shoulder blades. She was aware his two hands spanned almost the length of her back as he spread the lotion over her skin.

It fucking hurt like a bitch,he admitted quietly. I’ve been thinking all day about it. We’ve spoiled him rotten. I don’t think Bastiano, or I ever Jdenied him anything. I have tremendous amounts of guilt towards him. My grandfather was a hard man, Alcee. The first time he brought me to see my father’s secret child he pointed him out and called Raniero the Lozano embarrassment. He told Corrado his illegitimate child would never be permitted to enter the Lozano household. He told him to never mention the boy to me. Corrado was genuinely surprised to know I knew of Raniero because he thought he’d hid him well. My grandfather never told him I knew but my grandfather didn’t keep much away from me in terms of business, and he wanted me to be know what kind of skeletons could eventually make the light of day from Corrado’s closet.

She lay there quietly listening as he spoke his fingers and palms rubbing her muscles into mush.

When Raniero approached me, I was prepared to do as my grandfather requested and refuse to acknowledge him and to insist he never be part of our family. In the town where he was raised, everyone knew Cianna was the mistress of a wealthy man and her son was a bastard. He grew up with a stigma. My grandfather was ashamed of him. I spent one hour with him and couldn’t. Instead, Tito, Bastiano and I started taking care of him on the down low. Never letting my family know what we were up to. Eventually, Raniero came to me and said Corrado was visiting Cianna, usually drunk and angry and in between hurling abuse at them, he was spilling all the shit he was going to do to get his seat back. Raniero was

do/to actually instrumental in helping me figure out Corrado stole money from me. He’s never betrayed me, and he’s always been on the right side. The shit from the last twentyfour hours is a shock and it’s bothering me a great deal. However, he was out of line, and I cannot stop thinking about how fucking much stronger you were last night than I was. I let you and Antero down and it is not a mistake I will make again. You are my future, Alcee, you, and Antero and if he can’t get himself in line, then I will do as my grandfather requested and cut him out completely.
