Sold To the Grizzly Don (Alcee and Bruno) novel Chapter 99

Chapter 99

Torquato Lozano knew his father better than anyone else and far better than the old man gave him credit. Unlike his father who went into situations with his ego bolstering his value, Torq did the background checks, the longterm studying and he dug deep. He knew everything from the man’s shoe size to his favorite brand of underwear to the current scent of his deodorant. He knew the grades he made in grade school and the tests he failed in college. He’d been studying him long before his grandfather died and in even more depth since Torq shot him in the leg.

Yet, he was ready for the subject matter to be closed and for the end of the situation to be reached.

Corrado Lozano was going to die tonight, one way or another. He was hoping he himself would put the bullet in him. He knew it was sick to want to kill his own father, patricide that it was, but the man tried to kill Brunella and put a hit on his son and for this, he was going to pay.

Torq and several of his men were in the cars which Corrado hired to take them from the airstrip. The small convoy, a fleet almost, of vehicles Corrado thought were full of Molinaro’s and Zanelli’s family. The Zanelli family, those who’d escaped Torq’s punishment in the past, were now completely eradicated. Molinaro didn’t have a single heir left. His sons were so happy playing fast and loose to give him grandchildren and Molinaro was the only son of his father who died quite young. The smalltime family was about to be incinerated completely once the bomb went off in the car. Torq couldn’t wait to see the car go off. First though, he wanted to see the fucker get the bag with his sons heads in it.

They were in the last car. The very last one. Him, Tito and Bastiano were sitting in the car. As the men would come out of the airplane, the lesser soldiers would be sent to the back to take up the rear of the convoy to deal with the any issues which came up during the drive. The car in front of them was Kylen and Tank and Cicciu. Jesus and a crew he brought with him were in the car in front of this and Bianchi filled the next car with guys of his own. There were three cars ahead which held only Corrado’s men, and the reason was simple. Corrado and Molinaro would be in the second and third cars. He wanted to blow up Molinaro’s car. He wanted Corrado to lead him to Mariani. He wanted to see him sweat, to panic and then he wanted to go in and gun the fuckers down

The only fly in the ointment until earlier in the day was Alcee’s brother Mercurio but he’d fucked up by calling her. They’d gotten hold of everything he was doing too. He was glad to find out Mercurio was telling the truth. He wanted to lead his family and even if it was marginally smaller than what his predecessors ran, he wanted to be the head of the family. Edgardo was going to die. Torq wanted to kill him, but he was going to turn him over to his new brotherinlaw.

Moving into position and listening to the surveillance, they watched as the hatch of the plane came down and Molinaro’s guard came down the stairs first. He was followed by the son of one of Corrado’s oldest friends. The man was wearing sunglasses in the dead of night like he was in a spy film.

Carlos.Tito commented quietly.

I can’t wait to see him die. Torq laughed under his breath. He’s a fucking idiot. He thinks because his father does Corrado’s books he’s this untouchable thing. I can’t wait to tell him his father is dead.

It is good to enjoy happy things to plan,Bastiano snickered.

The earpieces which connected all of the men together were filled with the laughter of the group.

Ah, there is Molinaro.Natale Bianchi’s voice held a squeaky excited tone to it, and it made Torq, Tito and Bastiano exchange grins. They’d found out earlier how much Natale hated the entire family and was so excited to see Molinaro get a delivery of sonsheads he’d been bouncing like a boy on Christmas morning. Where is the soldier delivering the gift?

There he is.Kylen’s voice came through the comms. We made sure to use Andreas Molinarn’s personal cell phone to get the parcel picked up

for his father.

You know it would be kind of funny if he simply shot Corrado for this right here, right now.

He won’t though. He’ll know Corrado didn’t kill him. He’s going to get in the vehicle and demand privacy while he searches for answers. Molinaro is never one to act rashly. He’s never been. He’ll demand the chance to grieve in the car alone. He didn’t shed a tear when his father died. He won’t be in public now. He may end up shooting the soldier who makes the delivery though.

Which is one less kill for us,Kylen commented with a grunt.

They watched with bated breath as the man approached, and the microphones strategically placed inside the handles of the bag picked up the

conversation.

Mr. Molinaro. Your son Andreas asked me to pick this parcel up for you. He said only you would know the code and you should open it upon arrival
