Chapter 709
“Gavin, I’ve said yes to Brad’s proposal. I’m his fiancée now,” Cameron said.
Gavin fell silent.
After a long pause, Gavin finally said, “Cam, you’re still young.”
Cameron couldn’t help but sigh. “I’m twenty–six, Gavin.”
Gavin fell silent.
Bradley said, “Gavin, Cam’s taking the master bedroom, I’ll crash in the guest room.”
Gavin finally looked a bit more satisfied. “Now that’s what I want to hear.”
Cameron was speechless.
It was late at night.
Everyone was already asleep.
After taking off her makeup and showering, Cam stepped out of the bathroom in the soft, buttery yellow pajamas Bradley had picked out for her.
He was sitting on the sofa in a black robe. He’d already showered in the guest bathroom next door while Cameron was removing her makeup.
He sat there with a faint smile, just quietly watching the bathroom door.
When the door finally opened, his smile widened. He stood up, walked over, and pulled her into his arms.
“Cam, you smell amazing,” Bradley murmured, burying his face in her freshly dried hair.
“I used your shampoo,” Cameron said.
Bradley let out a low chuckle. “Oh? Is that so?” His smile grew even wider.
“Did you shower too?” Cameron asked, picking up that familiar lemony scent on him.
Cameron nuzzled her face against his chest, slipped her arms around his waist, and closed her eyes. “You smell amazing too, Brad.”
Bradley let out a soft laugh.
He looked down at her in his arms.
Cameron’s lashes were long, and with her eyes closed, they cast a soft shadow beneath her eyelids – she looked absolutely adorable.
Earlier that afternoon, Eric had put a lot of thought into Cameron’s outfit, and it made Bradley’s heart race.
But at the time, his mind had been so focused on the proposal that he even forgot to compliment her at all,
His long fingers gently traced the tip of Cameron’s nose. “Cam, you were absolutely gorgeous this afternoon.”
Cameron opened her eyes and looked up at him. “So, now that I’ve taken off my makeup, I’m not gorgeous anymore?”
Bradley lifted her delicate chin and leaned down to give her a soft kiss on her petal–like lips. “You’re even more beautiful now.

Chapter 709
Really? Cameron bearned.
She rose up on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to Bradley’s just as he was about to say something, catching his soft tips dah bers
There was no way Bradley could handle Cameron making the first move.
In a heartbeat, he flipped the script, taking charge and kissing her back with fierce, unstoppable passion.
After what felt like forever, Bradley finally managed to let go of Cameron, though even then, he was is just barely keeping himself in check
Cameron leaned into his arms, her breath coming in soft, unsteady bursts.
She looked up at him, her eyes unfocused and dreamy as she gazed at Bradley.
That look nearly shattered Bradley’s self–control.
He turned his head slightly and said softly, “Cam, it’s really late.”
Bradley bent down, picked her up, and gently laid her on the bed.
He braced his hand on the pillow beside her head, caging her in protectively.
Bradley gently ran his fingers through her soft hair, clearly reluctant to let go. “Cam, it’s really late. I’m going to sleep in the guest room. Will you be scared being here alone?”
This villa was massive – five stories above ground, three below- and right now, it was just the two of them inside.
Bradley fully expected Cameron to just shake her head.
