Chapter 715
Chapter 715
Bradley moved into the Yates Manor. With Christmas approaching, Levi and Jacqueline busied themselves decorating the mansion alongside the servants.
Lance was occupied with enjoying his romantic time with Amelia.
As for Gavin, after meeting two blind dates arranged by Jacqueline, he made excuses and fled. H ouldn’t return until Christmas.
Cameron and Bradley finally had some downtime after their busy year. They went shopping togerer, watched movies, held hands during walks, and climbed mountains to watch the sunrise. They experienced everything couples do.
Bradley felt truly happy.
Eddie wasn’t so fortunate. The day after Bradley proposed to Cameron, Eddie boarded another flight to Regalburg. He had already purchased a house near Vicki’s neighborhood.
Eddie had been planning this for days–timing his morning runs to “accidentally” bump into Vicki near her neighborhood.
Like always, Vicki still loved her morning bike rides around the villa district. So Eddie started getting up early to jog the same route.
His plan worked. He spotted Vicki cycling toward him on the tree–lined path.
A slow smile spread across Eddie’s face, bringing life back to his eyes that had been dull for so long. “Ms. Shaw, good morning.”
Vicki hadn’t expected to see Eddie again. She slowed her bike slightly and gave him a nod before pedaling away faster.
Her brother, Baron Shaw, had warned her to stay away from Eddie. So she kept her distance.
Eddie stood there watching her disappear around the corner. ‘Did Vicki not recognize me?‘

Chapter 715
On the fourth day, Eddie got himself a bicycle and waited at the intersection for Vicki.
Winter in Regalburg was shrouded in mist. Vicki wore a black coat and a red scarf, making her youthful face glow white and pink. She looked beautiful.
“Ms. Shaw.” Eddie blocked Vicki’s path with a smile. “I see you riding your bike every day and it looks fun. I
got one too. Can I ride with you?”
Vicki stared at Eddie’s smile and bit her lip slightly. “No.”
Eddie froze completely. He never expected Vicki to refuse.
He was like someone drowning in an abyss, already too weak to struggle. Hope flared in his chest when he
saw a ray of light in the distance. But in an instant, that light vanished.
And he fell into darkness forever.
Vicki caught the disappointment on Eddie’s face, and it made her feel terrible, too.
She turned her bike around and rode straight home.
Back in her living room, Vicki sat on the sofa, feeling frustrated with herself.
‘Was I too harsh just now? It’s just riding bikes together. But Baron told me not to get involved with Eddie. guess this is how it has to be.‘
That afternoon, Vicki went out on her bike again. She felt restless all day because she hadn’t gone out that
morning.
