I didn’t know how to answer; instead, I just stared up at the man cupping my face. His skin was dark as the night, and his eyes were storm cloud grey. He looked to be a mirror image of Pontus. Same face, same build. He smiled down at me until someone coughed. I turned to see my mate staring at me with a wounded look on his face, and that snapped me out of whatever trance I was in.
Pontus and Uranus both laughed. “Don’t worry, pup.” Uranus patted Rowan on his shoulder. His voice came out condescending. “All mortals get this way around gods. Your mate’s heart is still only yours.” I wanted to stand, but Rowan grabbed me first. He must have seen the anger on my face because he smiled. “Now you have called all of us here. What do you need?” Uranus joined his brother and mother across from me.
“Humans have found out about us.” I started.
Pontus raised a brow and turned to his mother. “Why does this have anything to do with us?”
Gaia smacked him. “You know exactly why we are here. Allow the godling to talk.” She turned back to me and nodded. “Go ahead.” Pontus and Uranus turned away, bored already with our plight.
“Humans are on their way to kill us. But I know that we aren’t the only pack they know of. The ones that turned their backs on us would have told them about more than this one.” The three gods nodded. “I woke today after being in the abyss.” The two men whipped around.
“The abyss?” Pontus came back over and crouched next to me. He grabbed a fistful of my hair and took a deep breath in. He sat back on his heels and tilted his head at me. “Interesting.”
Uranus walked over to my other side and mimicked his brother. I felt frozen between these two large gods. “Quite interesting.” He used a finger to turn my face to look at him. “Mortals can’t survive the abyss.” I watched his eyes search my face. “What exactly are you?” His voice was soft, but I had no answer for him.
Both men stood and walked back to their mother. They leaned over to talk to her, but she smacked both. “We can discuss this later.” She turned them to face me. “Go on.” She pulled them down to the map.
I pointed to Silvermoon pack lands. “The humans are almost here. But I need to save every pack.” I pointed out all the others. The two men laughed at me.
“You interesting godling, but you are no god. And you don’t have the power to pull this off.” Pontus pointed to the packs in Canada. “How do you expect to reach here?”

Good story!...
This is a good story, but the ability to only read a couple of chapters a day (which is equivalent to approximately one page in a book) is really causing me to lose interest....
