The morning was different from any other morning she had ever had in her life before, and the burst of courage and self-confidence she showed earlier made her feel rejuvenated.
At the same time, she felt as if she had just gone through a nirvana. She had never been so forthright and confident in her entire life. Even when she was with her employees, she wasn’t that bold.
However, when she recalled the pep talk, she had with Andrea the other day, Diamond understood what she needed to do the second she overheard Kian and Sullivan talking about her on the phone.
Besides, she was very confident that no matter what she would throw at them, the twins wouldn’t budge and leave her.
They had expended a lot of effort to have her, so why would they easily give up after getting her?
That was also why, before making her scheme known to the twins, she slept with Sullivan first.
It would be impossible for him to evade responsibility. Even if they agreed to be with her just to exact revenge on them for tricking them, Diamond didn’t believe that they would continue to think like that after being with her.
She was going to spoil them in her way and provide them with goodies they had never seen in this world. With so many treasures on her, would they dare even think of ditching her and finding someone else?
She didn’t think so.
So, she was very happy after the twins vowed to be with her, care for her, pamper and spoil her. Although those promises sounded iffy since words weren’t that meaningful as it was easy to go back on one’s words, she still found the moment lovely.
She had never been told something like that except by her family members, which didn’t count.
That ex-boyfriend of hers never said any sweet words to her. Even when they were intimate. It would be shocking if he didn’t call out the name of his white moonlight during the deed.
Sometimes she wondered what made her so thick-skinned to continue being with him back then.
Anyway, after the morning conversation, Sullivan had to reheat the food since it had gone cold as they were having a family meeting.
Once in a while, Sullivan would look at her and chuckle helplessly, but she just shrugged her shoulders in response.
After breakfast, Sullivan did the dishes, and the two went for a cuddle.
Just when she thought that they would be having a great afternoon to themselves, Sullivan received a call from his manager.
Apparently, there was an emergency, and Sullivan needed to go to work. He received a job at the last minute, which was more of a favor being asked of him.
Diamond knew that she couldn’t keep him, so she reluctantly had to part with him. There wasn’t too much time for them to spend together, as she would be leaving the next day.
However, work was also important, and she knew how much Sullivan loved his job, although she still hadn’t watched any of his works. She was too busy and needed to rectify that when she returned to Frin.
Sullivan drove Diamond in his Laserati out of the neighborhood and dropped her off at the hotel before he left with unwillingness written all over his face.
Seeing him like that, she felt much better, as that showed that she wasn’t the only one who felt sour about the separation thing.
After returning to the hotel, she returned to the suite where she soaked her body in some warm medicated water for thirty minutes and witnessed as all the hickeys vanished into thin air.
After getting a bath, she changed into a classy black and white short jumpsuit with a pair of black gladiators.
She took out a bucket bag from her storage ring and threw a few necessities inside before she was satisfied.
"Perfect!" she complimented herself as she checked herself in the mirror.
After finishing everything, she made a call to Betty and informed her to prepare the car for her. She was going out and wanted to buy a few souvenirs since she would be leaving the next morning.
Diamond left her suite and looked at Rita’s door before harrumphing and making her way to the elevator.
She wiped the car on the screen and waited patiently for the elevator to arrive. Unfortunately for her, the elevator went all the way to the pent-suite first before it came down.
Noticing that it went upwards, Diamond became curious about the person with whom she would be sharing the elevator this time.
When the elevator reached her floor, it opened, revealing the person that was inside.
’Is my luck that good?’ she couldn’t help but wonder as she walked into the elevator.
The person inside the elevator happened to be the man she saw the previous day when she left the hotel to meet Sullivan.
"Hello, we meet again!" she smilingly said as she looked at him, her greediness masked without a chance of spiling it. f\ree webn ovel(.)com
