The twins didn’t wait to be called twice as they eagerly walked towards Diamond and sat on the other couch.
Ruby looked at the twins with curiosity in her eyes, and so did the twins.
Diamond looked at Ruby and said, "Ruby, those two are my little friends. The one with black hair is called Precious and the one with red is Patience. They will be staying with us for a while," introducing the twins to Ruby.
After saying so, she looked at the twins and continued, "That’s Ruby, my little sister. And she will be the one hanging with you at the foundation starting tomorrow."
"Huh? We are already starting?" Patience asked with shock in her tone.
Diamond flashed a sly smile at her and answered, "Time wait for no man. Besides, that’s how you will get to know Frin. Ruby is mainly involved in running around. So, you will definitely love it. You won’t be confined in the office."
Upon hearing that she would be working with the twins, Ruby was thrilled. As one of the youngest interns at the foundation, she had been too busy running errands.
So, having more people to run around with, she felt elated.
"What my sister said is true. You will know Frin easily that way. I am always out of the office," Ruby beamed at the girls.
Precious glared at Patience, who had cut the introductions short before looking at Ruby apologetically.
"It’s nice meeting you, Ruby. Your sister had told us so much about you."
Upon hearing that, Patience realized what she had done wrong and touched her nose in embarrassment.
"Hehe, the pleasure is also mine," Ruby said as she chuckled softly when she saw how cute Patience was acting.
Seeing the girls getting along, Diamond was at ease and with her leading the conversation, everyone began to contribute easily.
The four of them were having a great time, though Diamond could no longer watch the news.
After a while, Janet called everyone for dinner and, for the first time, the five of them gathered together for a meal.
The twins were surprised to see the housekeeper eating with them. But when she saw how the sisters didn’t seem bothered by it, they decided to keep mum and enjoy their food.
But who would have known that the food was simply so delicious?
"Auntie Janet, you are a great cook!" Patience won over by the food praised Janet instantly.
Janet smiled dotingly at the kids, obviously happy with the praise.
"Hehe, when the ingredients are good, the food will be delicious," Janet said, as she didn’t dare hoard all the compliments.
She was fully aware of what was making the food delicious. Diamond Farm was truly a precious gem that produced delicious crops as well as meat products.
"Don’t be modest, Auntie!"
Everyone had a great time, and dinner time passed peacefully.
After dinner, they didn’t stay indoors but went outside for a walk for around thirty minutes before they returned.
Everyone was tired and with the twins going to the foundation the next day, they all went to bed early.
Diamond, however, didn’t sleep immediately but began to browse through the friend list that Andrea had given to her.
Among the five candidates, one of them grabbed her attention the most.
It was one of the girls around her age.
She came from a middle family if she were to put labels on that. However, the girl was competent and a winner in life.
She graduated from Frin University where she got a Master’s in Financial management at the age of twenty-two.
She was then recruited by a famous investment company where she was now working as a team leader, leading a group of geniuses who didn’t know what losing meant.
She was ambitious but had principles. She didn’t see a lot of negative issues about her, which made her very attractive for Diamond to befriend.
Her only problem was that she was too dedicated to her work and didn’t have a lot of time to loosen up.
Diamond decided to target that girl first and see where it would go.
After deciding, Diamond went to wash up and changed into her pajamas before climbing into bed.
However, she didn’t go straight to sleep again but started chatting with her lovers in the group that she had formed the day she had a wonderful chat with them.
It was only after talking for an hour or so that she finally went to sleep.
The next morning, she woke up early as usual. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and put on her exercise gear.
She went downstairs and found Janet already cleaning the house. Seeing her working so early in the morning, she felt very bad.
’It’s time I find more stuff!’ she thought as she left the villa.
Diamond ran around the court twice and met Cecilia, who was sending away her husband to work.
She stopped and chatted with the gossipy lady for a while and also sealed some business deals.
After talking to Cecilia, she returned to the villa where she wasn’t surprised to see no one apart from Janet downstairs.
