Her expression intensified her cuteness that Diamond wanted to pinch her cheeks and ruffle her hair.
However, she understood that they had just met and if she were to act like that, she might end up chasing the pure soul away.
"Yes, yes. Just call me big sister. As long as you are happy, I am happy too!" Diamond conceded.
She didn’t mind having young sisters. The title had that thing in it that she liked so much.
As the big sister, she would be able to spoil her younger sisters and make them happy. She would be responsible for them and make them look up to her.
Just thinking of that, Diamond felt that it wasn’t so bad after all.
Selena happily looked at Diamond before she opened her mouth to say something.
However, before she could say anything, her phone started ringing.
Diamond watched as Selena looked at the screen before she picked up the call.
"I am coming. Just wait for me!" she said softly on the phone before hanging up.
"You are going?" Diamond asked though it was more of a statement than a question.
Selena sulkily nodded her head, and Diamond could tell that the other didn’t want to part with her yet.
"Okay, then you go and meet up with your friends. I still need to return to my little sisters. They are waiting for me!" Diamond told Selena.
She had been away for a while now and if she didn’t appear. Who knows what those girls would do when she wasn’t there?
"Can I call you anytime?" Selena asked hesitantly as she looked at Diamond with anticipation once again.
Diamond smiled at her, as she raised her hand to ruffle the hair, she had been itching to ruffle for some time now, and answered, "Um. You can call and if I am busy, I will tell you."
Selena heaved a sigh of relief when she heard that.
"Okay, big sister. Don’t forget to answer my call when I call!" Selena reminded urgently before dashing into the restroom without giving Diamond a chance to respond.
Diamond helplessly shook her head before making her way back. Since she had already got the number for Selena, she would just wait until the girl called her.
Diamond reunited with the girls, and the four of them didn’t play for long before they left the entertainment center.
Diamond didn’t take the girls to a fancy restaurant but took them to a neighborhood she once frequented. There was a nice street food stall there and she sort of missed the food. f.(r)eewe/bnov\ll.com
"Big sis, this .... Is this safe?" Patience asked doubtfully as she glanced around.
In her twenty-one years, she had never eaten somewhere like that before. And judging by the neighborhood they had entered; she was scared for her life.
She didn’t bring bodyguards with her. What if something were to happen to them?
Diamond chuckled softly as she looked at the twins. She could understand why they were acting like that. So, she didn’t feel offended or feel that Patience had misspoken.
"It’s safe. Your big sister had been eating on the streets for many years. I can assure you that nothing will happen to you," Diamond patiently told the girls.
Precious looked at Diamond as her mind was busy gearing.
’What does she mean by that? Just how long had sister been rich?’
"Big sis. You said you have been eating this for years. Is the food really good?"
"It is. It’s just that while we love to have expensive food cooked by chefs, most people just use common ingredients and prepare home-cooked meals. The food is both delicious. You just need to ignore the circumstances."
"Big sis, don’t worry. They will understand when they have a taste!" Ruby said in support of her sister.
After being poor for many years. What things didn’t they eat?
"Lady boss, we want to order now!" Diamond called for the lady who was wearing an apron and was busy stirring a huge pot.
The lady stopped what she was doing and flashed her a big smile.
"I will be there!" she enthusiastically called.
Diamond smiled before she turned to look at the girls.
"I will order for you. Don’t worry, you will definitely like it!" Diamond assured the girls.
If she didn’t trust the lady boss, there was no way she would have brought the pampered misses she didn’t dare to offend.
After knowing that they were coming with her, Diamond had Andrea investigate the twins and the results were very unexpected.
"What do you have?" Diamond asked since it’s been a while since she was there.
She wasn’t sure what the lady was providing anymore.
When the lady boss heard that, she happily announced all the dishes that were currently present, shocking the twins.
’Just what the heck did that woman just say?’ they couldn’t help but wonder as they didn’t know what was being said at all.
When Diamond heard the menu, her eyes lit up as it had been a while since she had eaten something that traditional and nice.
"Give us four plates of pap, four servings of tripes and dried greens," Diamond ordered with a smile on her face.
When the lady boss heard such a big order, her smile deepened alongside the wrinkles on her face.
"I will have the order delivered shortly," she happily said before she returned to the kitchen.
Fortunately, there weren’t a lot of customers, so the lady wasn’t going to take too much time with the food delivery.
When the twins heard Diamond’s order, they both looked at her with horror.
"Big sis, this .... Can’t we have normal meat? Tripes are a bit too much, don’t you think?" Patience dejectedly suggested as she looked at Diamond, hoping that she might change her mind.
When Diamond heard that, she looked at the twins, a serious expression morphing on her face.
When Ruby saw that, she silently prayed for the twins. Big sister is about to start another lecture again.
The twins also knew what was coming upon seeing that.
Precious glared at Patience, who knew only to cause problems. Didn’t Patience know how scary Diamond was when giving other lectures?
But it was already too late to cry over spilt milk.
They could only helplessly listen as Diamond gave them a lesson, a lesson that many others ended up listening to. Making them be looked down upon by others in the process.
Experiencing all that, the twins only had one thought.
’We want to go home!’
